Seriously though, and forgive my ignorance, but I can't really think of any "major" wars Europe has been involved in since the early to mid 1900's. I know I'm overlooking something huge here. XD

Well, before the 1900's, you had (arbitrarily speaking) France engaged in a whole slew of something-or-other, and after the end boss that was WW2 we now have an uncharacteristically peaceful time.

Well, there wasn't a major war, but the years of cold war something of a shitty "peace", not only with half the continent in communist hands, but with everyone waiting for the real war to break out. And on the "wrong" of the courtain also waiting for the Soviets to come in force should they think order needs to be restored.

I remember there being a video where some frenchmen were basically taken out to jail for basically decrying the fact there were no check ups on the refugees after the bombing, may someone present it? I think I might scroung it really and show it.

Yugoslavia breakup in the 90s likely... whether it was huge or major is I guess debatable... it was dirty as hell though.
But there's nothing to forgive you. I assure you even a lot of Europeans forget it happened. Or maybe pretend...
