It's $29.99 for the basic package if you are interested. No need to buy the $49.99 version, as the goodies are only redeemable by one character. I know that sounds cheap, but the game is DEFINITELY worth $30, and this is coming from me who is normally very picky about mmo's.

I can't get enough of it. Usually I have to pace myself in an mmo or else I get sick of it in a week. This one, I close it to take a break, and I want to launch it again right away.

The only downside is after 45 you're perma flagged, but there's a stiff penalty system for people who kill other players without just cause, so it limits the asshattery at later levels.

My highest is only lvl 16, there's just so much to do. Next time I talk to my buddy I will see if he wants the buddy pass I got with my copy. I think he'll say no, but I promised to hold it in case he changes his mind. If he does, it's all yours if you want, but I can't guarantee how soon I'll see him.

This is literally the mmo of the decade for me. I tried Blade & Soul and was left wanting to play Tera. I won't go back to WoW because I've just done it too many times. Lotro is dying. I play The Secret World, but it's f2p after box purchase, so it's not like I feel obligated to play it.

Really, I'd do some more research and see if you like it. The translations aren't that bad, but the voiceover work is pretty crappy. One of the first things I did was turn off voice audio.
