ROCKROLL TIME
Well, as I cant seem to make a new thread regarding it, I'll post this here:

"Little heads up for those of you that (like me) use paypals "pay by credit / debit card" option. Groupees has now also been added to the increasing list of companies that no longer have a currency conversion option when you try to pay this way - meaning you'll be hit with bank charges far higher than the cost of the purchase you make.

Tried several browsers, two computers and two different net connections - same thing. Might be regional of course, but thats no help.

Before you ask why I dont use paypal - cant - bank wont connect to it due to the debit thingy (ie it draws money when it feels like it) and besides... I dont want a paypal account."

If any of you feel like spreading that info to anyone you know similar... I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

B-Movie incoming soon!

* * * * *

And tonights B-Movie (courtesy of pootubes automatic shit)...

The Mole People (1956). Seems to have autosubs at least.
Never seen this.
Might be utter crap!

Edit: okay, this is some nutty 50s stuff - very relevant to anyone who ended up in the wrong corner of youtube at 4am! O_________o

Watching this film further... it could actually have a really good reboot - even just a feature length TV movie could do it.

It's only as nuts as the Mysterious Cities of Gold

No offense but I have never met anyone who spoke well of that. Much less of twelve years. Well, my cousins went for a few and they seemed not to mind, but the key word may be few.

No offense taken, it turned me into the lovely atheist I am today. Although, the high school I went to was run by some very radical nuns, so that was fun :)

Semi-controversial opinion of the day: Judy Garland would be considered one of the best vocalists ever if she had focused more on that side of her career instead of acting.

probably more accurate had she not had a bairn and thus the attitudes at the time beaten her career down as a result.

LOL
For what it's worth, Catholic school was all there was when I was a kid in Quebec and I think it was fine for the era. I'm now an atheist because there is nothing I learned that said "Don't think".
