Crsldmc: Thanks for pointing him out to GEMS, definitely a good place to find top quality material.

This guide is a bit large but worth reading through if experiencing issues aswell.

Excellent guide as well. I'm having a quick read of it now to see if I've missed anything. Cheers :)
I went to a flea market today and saw a top-notch Dreamcast with 30+ (good) games and a lot of accessories. Not sure if I should buy it 'cause I'd have to touch my savings but I think I could get it for about 180-200€. What do you think?

I had a dreamcast and many of the games were fun, but a lot were very lacking. Have you played a large majority of those games to see if they're ones you would really like (or make it worth the purchase)? I think my favorite games were Sega Bass Fishing, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, and Gauntlet Legends. Here in the US that game system really failed badly, so there weren't many releases despite them generally being better than the versions on other systems from what I remembered.

I haven't played any of the games or even the console ever though I know the games from reading magazines back in the day and watching videos of them. Can't even remember now what the games are that I saw today...Shenmue was there and also Starlancer and Toy Commander for example.

edit: wrong game name

...is it just me or is the 115,000+ free bundles given out to groupees accounts today likely to be a more a result of 100,000 key reseller types with different accounts, than 115,000 actual indiviual groupees buyers - factoring in the average bundle there struggles to sell between 5,000 and 10,000
Isn't it simply about how many bundles were sold overall?

Probably something like that. I just noticed the free bundle I got today (though it doesn't look like any of the games are very fun).

I don't know much about the Dreamcast except that it has cult status. I looked at about 10 "top lists" and they all list the same games. If the bundle includes most of these, then maybe it's a good idea?

Edit: typo

I was thinking of this earlier, but wouldn't it be nice if GOG had an IRC channel like "GOG General Chat" or something?
I couldn't resist and bought the Dreamcast with 41 games today. wallet = dead

Think I'll have to nick that - was trying to explain something similar to a mate (a console only gamer), and I think this should explain more clearly.

...they should also have added "running on a usb boot stick on a mac" at the end.

While looking at it through an Oculus Rift.
