chautemoc: Does anyone know what this game is and how I can play it again?
Sounded to me like it was Wizardry, but looks like someone found it.

On a different note, I really liked "Shining in the Darkness" they had on the Sega console.

It wasn't called "Kick the Can" was it? There was a Twilight Zone episode of that name.

There is a twitch stream with a game similar to which you are looking, not sure if this is it or not:

No it, it was adventure cartoon US-like game with a pointer & clicking (not Anime action adventure).

Ah, the point and click genre. Have you had a chance to search at the "Adventure Game Studio" site? http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/

Many games there are the "point and click" variety and several actually made it to consumers through retail channels. There's a good chance you may find it there if it's an indie title.

No guarantees, but it's a pointer in a new direction.

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if I should add a new post or start a new thread but here it goes.

I'm trying to find an old PC game that I think is from the 1990s (pre 2003 for sure). I can't remember the title but it had a some very definite characteristics.

- It was a platformer. Side Scrolling or 2D

- When you got in the water your shotgun got wet and you had to wait afterwards to it to dry before you could use it again.

- The opening scene was that your plane crashed into the jungle, into a dinosaur that was about to eat a princess that was tied up and about to get sacrificed.

- You could talk to the princess and there was a multiple choiced box with options. For solving a few puzzles you needed the princess help (not sure about this last part).

If you could help find the name I'd appreciated, even if GOG isn't selling it yet.

Edit: Found it - It's The Bermuda Syndrome

After a thorough search I finally found this thread:
I'm looking for a game that I used to play all the time, it was a Windows 95-game where you would control a tank, a helicopter, some sort of vehicle with a rocket launcher on top or a small jeep that you could toss hand grenades from. You basically started from a base and then you would drive/fly out in any direction and start fighting enemy bases.
It was a 3D-game (I think), played from an isometric-ish view. Can't remember the name of it!!!
I'm looking for a game, that I swear was titled similar to '7th Legion' but the more I search, the less I find and the more I doubt my sanity.

You are the commander of an planetary invasion force. The campaign is a series of planetary invasions, with tech levels gradually ramping up until the are at or superior to your own. You start with a planetary overview, from whence you pick target for bombardment (possibly) and where to land troops. You can open up several windows which represent beach heads on the planet you're invading.

It's an old game, possibly early to mid 90's. I thought I found it on an abandonware site ten or so years ago. It always stuck out to me, because it's the only game in that vein I've ever found (or dreamed, possibly).

Could it be "(Trevor Sorensen's) Star Legions"?

You are charged with managing the planetary invasion forces of the Krellan Empire ...
Success in the initial invasions means promotions, personal honors, and even greater armies to command in future campaigns.

Yes, that is it! Thank you! If any game deserves a remaster, it's this one.

Can someone help me finding this game i used to play as a kid

windows 95/98 (maybe xp but that's already stretching it alot)
top down shooter
one of the enemies was a spider/ant mech that i'm pretty sure you could pilot after defeating
i think another enemy was a kind of fat worm
the levels use diferent heights for platforms
i remember the maps being mostly brown but i probably had just a demo
i think that if you steped on enemy blood you would leave footprints

the closest games to what i remember are alien breed and mageslayer, but alien breed lacks 3d effect of floors at different heigths and mageslayer is in a fantasy setting
This will be a difficult one to crack: I'm looking for a text-based adventure game that I played on my Atari ST, probably from the early 90:s but could possibly also be from the late 80:s (in any case, released prior to 1994), which contained occasional nice-looking illustrations - which made it quite an atypical text-based adventure game as they usually either lacked illustrations altogether or had really bad and rudimentary ones. I vaguely remember it starting with some guy either not knowing where he was or not knowing who he was, or both. The game felt a bit like a text-based version of Myst where you explored a landscape but did not (at least initially) interact with any living beings. I also vaguely remember a rope being one of the very first items you could find and pick up (maybe at a beach or shoreline). If I remember correctly, the game was released by a legit game publishing company of the time, it definitely did not seem to be an amateur project but I cannot exclude the possibility of it being a shareware project as text-based adventures (barring the professional-looking illustrations) were pretty easy to make even back then. I may be completely off on this particular detail but I very vaguely seem to recall its name (or part of its name) starting with either an "S" or a "V" - but that's an extremely vague recollection that may well be a false memory... I've looked at lists of retro adventure games and text-based adventure games but I've found nothing matching these fragments of memory that I have about this game. Any ideas?

I had a demo on a disk I can't remember it's name where you played a lady with a cats head instead of a human head it was TOP down perspective like GTA where the magic system was drawing symbols on the ground to make spells happen I can't find the damn title for looking.

It was an RPG!
