Well, I have quite some buffer to sacrifice before I cannot link and attached picture, so it is still fine as of now.

What I think is there are two groups that formed GG.

The first has a genuine interest in spreading GG core ideas and influence.

The second is more interested in letting off steam and feel good themselves. Even if it would deteriorate GG position.
The latter makes Anita famous and feed more bullets by acting as she claims while using the GG tag because it is convenient.

Even in this forum we have some real example of that.

I hope the second group would become the true GG and improve GG credibility.

I hope there are more people like you, or the dev of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter in GG because it cast GG in a different light.

I wish for a voice that we should let the customer wallet decide on the direction of the game instead of blackmailing with negative press, but the current GG does not cut it.

The people who post in here can be pretty harsh sometimes (on both sides, myself obviously included), but there's a lot of kindness there once you get past the prickliness. I like to think of us all like a mistreated dog—sometimes we snap because we've learned not to trust, but we're still a fluffy and adorable love machine once you get past that. Or something like that. I'm terrible with metaphors.

Thanks for the kind words. The Ethan Carter dev has definitely been really cool throughout this whole thing from what I've read. There are a few other devs who have spoken out like that, too, and it really helped during those early days.

Sargon made a video losely related to what you just said. I think GG should never use the methods used by aGG, which include thought and word policing, cration of multiple useless hashtags, violence, threats, doxing, etc. But some GG supporters have the same "the end justifies the means" and "The only right is what I think is right" mentality.
Since I live in Mexico, a place with a mild delay in US fashions, SJW mentality is less common in colleges, but it is still strong and with steady growth, mostly things such as veganism and lesbofeminism have gained quite a lot of power arround colleges in here, in particular in social sciences. I hate my area of study, it is full of feminazis, both male and female, and other losers, but at least half of the males here push against it.

Throwing "hashtags" like veganism, lesbofeminism, sjw etc... all into the same pot is actually one of the methods you condemned in the same post, namely a very broad concept of the enemy with a touch of "guilt by association".

To be honest I base my statement in my experience. When every single vegan, not vegetarian, vegan you interact with tells you constantly how you are unhealthy and morally inferior for eating meat, and when every single feminist you interact with in your college campus is the kind that goes to slut walks and talks constantly about the patriarchy, you tend to generalize. I should have been more specific on what kind of people I am talking about. But with few exceptions such as Paglia and Sommers I am mostly anti feminist, so that might influence my views. And about lesbofeminism, in my experience it has only wrong things, I have seen messages such as "men are not necessary to reproduce" "lesbianize yourself", and so on coming from that wave of thought.

So if most kids you encounter are assholes, does this mean that all children are assholes?
Maybe you just don't encounter the nice and quiet ones because they aren't jumping around in your way and on your toes.
You'll never know the eating habits and reasons for those of most people and the few vegans you seem to have in mind are the reason why most other people that are not buying animal products for various reasons currently tend to avoid the V-word, because one encounters a lot of hatred the moment someone puts you into this drawer, just because people only notice the annoying ones and are annoying all the others because of false conclusions and their own concept of the enemy. By doing this, you are exactly the same as "your enemy" and most people just don't get it.

This is something I have a problem with in all forms of human society.
Don't encourage their group-think by accepting it. Just refuse to play this game and try to encourage people to keep different opinions than their buddies instead of accumulating certain positions only because they are usually found in the same group although they are completely unrelated to the thing they got together for in the first place.
I know first hand that this whole business "you want to be with us vegans, then you'll have to become a radical authoritarian queer non-binary misandrist in college too" does really exist and is just as common as it is bollocks and unrelated, but it's so far from "useful", that I refuse to accept this "us or them"-game that seems to be such an integral part of human nature even in 2015.
I know that the last two entries on the "opinions you have to get" list are a paradox, but that's how it is.
In short: Please ignore "wave of thoughts" and try to engage people as individuals, even if they never do it with themselves.

I somehow agree with you even though you are questioning my ways. I tend to generalize a lot. I have been doing that for years, and only since 2012 I began to try to avoid that error. It is not easy to give up on horrible old habits. It will take time before I finally set myself free of the generalization fallacy.

True. I would like to reword my statement. In my country things are not as PC and as bad as in the US. But still in areas such as literary studies there are many persons that fit the SJW description and constantly call you names if you dare to question the actions or views of certain groups or if you are not PC enough. And I expereince that firsthand. I am considered persona non grata in my college campus for denouncing the flaws of feminism and the wrong doings done in the neame of feminism and "equality", and in my experience all vegans I have interacted with in college treat me as if I was an ape for consuming meat and dairy products. Ironic how these "progressives" and "inclusive" people turn out to be some intolerant so often.
Which reminds me that the Steven Universe fandom is hated even by the show staff for bullying a girl into suicide just because she drew a character as thin in stead of obese as Tumblr likes her (The character is chubby) and even worse when the girl confirmed she survived they attacked her more. This is the kind of people we must stop, those who use justice and good will as an excuse to censor and bully others.
