Seems pretty smart to me. That way, you have an option for people to donate money who don't feel comfortable with the Patreon subscription model, on top of the money from people who prefer Patreon. Hell, I would contribute to Patreon for the people whose stuff I follow, but I just don't have enough disposable income to regularly let money go on Patreon. Something like this would be a great alternative for someone in my position.

The avatars are quite "exaggerated", certainly the type of thing Anita would normally rally against, yet somehow Brianna/John/whatever is part of the "in" click and gets no condemnation. While its a bit ironic, to say the least, that a developer who was born male seems to be one of the most outspoken feminists in the news. On top of strange views about "gays".

I've seen a few reviews which call the characters shallow stereotypes with big boobs and thin hips. I guess the lesson is if you want a game with exaggerated assets, hire a woman to do it (well unless you are Bayonetta) . Oh I guess the real story is to hire in in-click's friends and they won't complain.

Funny thing is, last Thursday I was talking to a girl who loves Mortal Kombat, she thinks the game is hilarious. In particular the girls with boobs and heels that would make it impossible to fight. That's part of what people love about Mortal Kombat, it's stupid over the top fun. It's not like the SJWs are now going to buy MK in droves. Maybe they might consider checking it out once all the gameplay has been replaced by walking and listening to a narrative about the wondrous joys of alternate sexuality.

That's a general thing with people who convert to something (not necessarily in a religious sense), they try so hard to prove themselves. John/Brianna is trying to out-woman actual women, harping on things like reproductive health which is not a concern for a transsexual. Even the name of the Twitter account is Spacecat Gal. Look at me, I'm a woman, for reals.

My home country had been under Turkish occupation in the past, and the worst people were not the native Turks, it was actually people who had converted to Islam, changed their names and identities, and were so full of hatred towards what they actually were. They were trying to out-Turk the Turks because they had no real identity left anymore.

The initial blowup? I'd say that's already over. The sentiments, lessons, and wounds? Probably for as long as the people that hold them are involved with games.

Well its times like this I should thankful that I was mostly neutral in the fiasco.
