Wondering what was that about the "treacherous thoughts" that granted a penalty in the first two assaults. Hummmm

The tavern is to do what you like with. Some people like to stay involved even if they get knocked out of the tournament, so I created the tavern as a means for them to still participate.

We need drinking contest, like in IWD2.

I concur. They brought a smile to my now wistful and weary face. The pleasure of reading them alone is worth it.

It means mind-reading minions, overconfident as they're usually unknown and unsuspected, and thus easily susceptible to a carefully laid trap - which just happens to be Og'rialt's specialty. >:D

And yes, yes, I the player run a risk of more penalties - but Og'rialt worries not about such things.

Fight 21

A nerdy looking man called (109) Hodd Toward enters the arena. He has a video game tucked under his arm and is wearing a t-shirt with the words 'Buy my game, it's awesome!' written on it.
Opposite is (106) Generic Superhero wearing the standard cape, underpants over a spandex onesy and sporting a 1950s haircut.

Hodd Toward starts his verbal assault "You can't approach me as I have kryptonite running through my veins and seeing how you are a rip-off of Superman, among others, if you don't bow down before me, you will perish at my hands".
"Also, buy my game, it's awesome!".
Generic Superhero isn't listening. He throws a batarang to trip up Hodd Toward before shooting a web from his wrist to ensnare him. He then runs in faster than the eye can see to deliver a punch that takes Hodd's head clean off his shoulders.
Generic Superhero chooses to fly out of the arena as he has seen another superhero do it before.
Hodd Toward appears in the tavern and starts a sales pitch about how good his game is.

Fight 22

(93) Terzek the 4 metre long scorpion clatters into the arena. The crowd gets excited as this is the sort of opponent they love to see.
Confusingly, an identical scorpion enters through the opposite gate as (44) no_body takes the form of his opponent.

The two scorpions charge at each other choosing to grapple with their pincers. It is Terzek who comes off worst as no_body manages to snip off one of his legs.

Enjoying his time as a giant scorpion, no_body manages to get the better of Terzek and jam his stinger into the midsection, pumping his foe full of venom. As a coup de grace, no_body emits a powerful odour that smells just like scented candles.
Terzek can take no more and collapses to the ground dead.

no_body clatters out wondering who he will get to imitate next?
Terzek appears in the tavern with his fellow vanquished.

Fight 23

The crowd sees a small, strange form enter through the left gate, or do they? Whatever it is seems to blend in with its surroundings as it moves. The creature in question is (72) Katmeleonpus. Part Siamese cat, part chameleon and part (the leggy part) octopuss.
The crowd are so intrigued by this creature that they don't even notice (82) Nevaro enter. A simple human adventurer, which is actually quite rare for fight club, he sidles up to one of the pillars and surveys his surroundings.

As Nevaro stealthily circles round the pillar looking for his foe, Katmeleonpus is busy doing the same on the next pillar along. They actually pass each other, back to back, without realising.

Katmeleonpus spins around to spit ink at Nevaro but the human is quicker, ducking under the spit and managing to score a minor hit with his club.

Katmeleonpus shoots out her long chameleon tongue to wrap around Nevaro's legs and trip him up. The kitty-monster then races over to his face, her octopuss legs pumping for all their worth, and hacks up an inky furball spitting it into Nevaro's mouth.
The poor human gags and chokes on his own vomit as Katmeleonpus sits on his chest, cleaning herself.

Katmeleonpus slinks out of the arean.
Nevaro is in the tavern muttering that he is more of a dog man.

Fight 24

(12) Mafon the human ghettoblaster enters the arena, waving his synthesizer arms around, blaring out 90s euro pop music.
(32) Scott Arnold also enters. A tall athletic man but with the air of importance that a job like a bank manager would give.

Mafon directs his arms towards Scott who finds that he is losing control of his body. What is this music that reverberates throughout me? It is so bad that it is actually good!

Mafon uses his arms, his "Polivoks", to destroy the pillar in front of himself with soundwaves, enjoying his dominance over Mr Joe average. He steps forward through where the pillar stood unaware that Scott Arnold has a trick of his own.
Scott takes the chance to activate his power of ‘event negation’, the ability to take an event that has just happened and
revert it back to the state that it was previously in.
As Mafon steps through the destroyed pillar, Scott negates that destruction and wills the pillar to reappear as it originally was. Poor Mafon is merged with the pillar as it reforms, a not very pleasant way to die.

Scott Arnold leaves the arena, humming some euro pop as he does.
Mafon resurrects in the tavern, "DJ is in the house!".

Fight 25

(11) Nexophorm enters the arena, all misshapen with drool puddling at its feet. Many in the audience are repulsed by the creature. A few not so much, blowing kisses with whatever features pass for lips towards it.
Opposing is (45) Uncle Jimmy, a human with robotic parts after being injured while defending a banana plantation. "Damn, you ugly boy! Shame it's not a robot I am facing but doesn't look too much of a threat."

Jimmy strolls forward confidently unaware that he is facing the Universes equivalent of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris all rolled into one!
Nexophorm somersaults over the human with ease landing lightly on his misshapen feet, pivots and delivers 4 karate chops faster than the eye can follow.
Uncle Jimmy stands dumbfounded before collapsing to the ground, quite dead.

Nexophorm exits the arena after having gotten the phone number of an equally repulsive creature.
Uncle Jimmy appears in the tavern and promptly starts taking the one-armed bandit apart.

Nooooo uncle jimmy

Aww, I was rooting for Hodd Toward and his new game :( Too bad he went down route 76.

The descriptions of the fights are so amazing so I didn't even get upset that my character lost the fight! (:

16 times the detail didnt help him much :(
he should have fought against the bug or better make a duo and fight in 2v2
