One of my closest friends here committed suicide a few months ago. She'd relayed a message - through another friends of her - that she wanted me to inherit a few of her things. I've been trying to reclaim them since from her landlady.

I've learnt today that that landlady has had her apartment cleared out, without informing me that she was about to. Despite me having been in contact with her, for months, despite having had three appointments with her and spending an hour waiting in front of K's former apartment each time with the landlady not turning up.

That is not cool and that landlady probably broke the law, if you want to pursue that. I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

I'm not one to strike a lady, but if you were too let her taste some knuckle I would turn a blind eye. Orcishgamer is right, pursue all the legal outlets you can. I'm very sorry about your friend, I know what its like to lose a friend that way.

Also, make sure you contact her family from time to time to see how they are doing. There is nothing worse than having someone you love die and then everyone associated with them just disappears like they never existed or mattered.

Spent 4 hours doing Physical Training for JROTC and had to walk home in 104 degree Fahrenheit heat which took me about an hour and a half. Then went to work for 4 hours which required more standing. FML.

I now regret that I did some 'stuff' with my ex-girlfriend. You would thought that I would learn my lessons 11 years ago when we first dated then she cheated on me with my close friends.

Even my best friend warned me about her and I still go to see her and do 'it' with her because I was starving for 'it' since it's been long time for me.

Now, she's being bit creepy stalker with her frequent texting and posting on my Facebook page.

Smear your junk with Vaseline and bacon bits, and when she takes off your pants she'll think you have some horrible disease and never speak with you again. Or she won't, and that's when you know she is completely nuts.

I learned that if you move an application that relies on a remote database to a new server on a new IP, you should check the USERS priv table before banging your head for 8 hours trying to figure out why the new server doesn't behave like the old one. Nine times out of ten, it will be because there is no user@IP created. Fucking duh.
