500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

IwubCheeze: The obsession over naming the squirrel makes me sad :(

The GOGBear has been here longer yet he/she/it is still waiting for a proper name.............

GOGBear hates all of you now..............
I've called him Atlas from the start. It fits.
Can't you wait for a little longer? Still got some games to complete.. ; )
Thanks a lot and have fun everyone!
I also suffer from the invisible mystery game bug. :(

Any news yet?

Speaking of Altas, GOG really needs to get the Bioshock series sometime!

tootbrush: What's this nonsense? I thought we were an international community around here. :P
Looks fine to me. It should be perfectly clear from that date format that the sale ends on the twelfth day of Smarch in the year 2015. At just before 2:00 in the afternoon, Green Man Time.

The force is strong with the Blaster Pack, but it isn't a Jedi yet.

Hmm. My mythology's rusty as all hell, so no surprise that I got it wrong. Still works for me, though.
Y U DO THIS GOG?

I just blew my wallet on the last sale and they pull this out!

I love GOG. My wallet however, does not.

For years I, too, thought Atlas held up the world. But rotorde is right; Atlas was condemned to hold up the heavens instead.

No probs. I only thought of it now because I think it was on an episode of QI that I saw recently. I agree that the name kinda works anyway. :)

IronArcturus: I thought GOGBear was the official name. Or is it Atlas since GOGBear usually holds the world over its head? :P
I've always called him Atlas GOGbear, but a number of folks do call him Theodore.

GOG has admitted that the ninja squirrel is female, so any proper name will have to suit her. I suggest Risuko the Kunoichi, since Risu is Japanese for "squirrel", and the -ko suffix denotes a girl.
