Do what you enjoy and take risks. Can you perhaps have a part time job to keep finances ticking over and use your spare time to pursue your passions. It can then be something you look forward to most days and as you enjoy what you're doing, it won't be a burden.
I haven't read all posts, so sorry if this has already been mentioned.

Being a youtuber or game developer are full-time tasks, do one or the other.
Voice-acting and writing are things you can probably do simultaneously.
Here are four things that seem to lead to success on youtube:
1. scream like an angry child when playing and reviewing your games
2. have the exact same opinions as all mainstream reviewers but offer a different presentation
3. polarize people whenever you can to attract more views
4. quickly play every game that happens to be trending at the moment
It seems sarcastic, but to me this is what all the famous youtubers are like...and it works for them.
Post-edit:
the majors I decided on for my Bachelor's were both risky, although my university made it seem as if they were not; 'get this major and you could have these kind of jobs...', which turned out to be utter bollocks.
The only jobs I could get were in sales, which (a) you don't need a 5-year degree for and (b) were inappropriate for me since I am not a sociable person...I majored in Economics for heaven's sake, you don't do that if you are "peoples person". Now I'm taking another risk with a vocational diploma, learning CAD and all that.
Some degrees/majors/professions are riskier than others, had I majored in Accounting I wouldn't have been unemployed for years. The most important thing is to do your research before choosing what you do. That goes for everything in life.

UPDATE: I'm releasing my first game sometime during the upcoming weekend. It's not much (made in Puzzlescript and it's a tribute game) but hey, it's a first. I'm just glad I got to the point to actually start making things. :)

At 1st I came to say some generic adult stuff, like "just find a work". But then released that not everybody is in same situation, as me.
Well, if you have other people (say - parents) to rely on - feel free to "take risks" and spend time on something, you really like, with hopes about self-improvement and (damn capitalism) monetization. You are really lucky person, if you are able to decide where to move next in your life (I mean - I couldnt even get to university and was forced to begin to work right after school, for example). Just dont lose motivation (my personal enemy), even if your 1st attempt will be unsuccessfull (it, most likely, will - experience come with fails)
