micktiegs_8: No wall of text here, just a partial passive aggressive post.
I've been here a long time, since goodoldgames dot com. Back then, curation 'choices' were understood by everyone.
Now that we've been in the realm of good/middle/garbarge/new/somewhat new/old/games (yes you read correctly), it's like a damn roller coaster.
Anyway I'll leave this here. Looking forward to the sad sacks who do the rounds 'grudge-downvoting' like it means anything. To everybody else, you're all truly wonderful - have a good one.
My guesses: games with a reasonably high base price (like the pron games); games from indies and publishers who are willing to publish here; the occasional "big-deal" games / games with name recognition, often AAA (again, from the big-name publisher actually willing to publish here); old games that don't need much technical fixing, unless they're extremely popular for which fixing them up would be financially worthwhile; and games for which client multiplayer is
not a very important part (since most publishers won't spend the resources to port to GOG's very small userbase). And probably others I missed.
/And as all forum users know, GOG is Literally Schmitler and we will not stop until there is nothing left./s
micktiegs_8: I see letting people talk was a terrible idea.
