idbeholdME: They can be used as a singular too. One of the intricicies of the english language that most often confuses non-native speakers.
Yup! They can be a gender neutral singular pronoun and although some might claim otherwise this is not a new thing.
"I have a friend I think you should meet."
"Oh yeah? What's their name?"

Perfectly normal when talking about a third party of unknown gender.

Orkhepaj: nah more like it used to , not anymore , it is in the past language evolved
they is clearly plural
Wrong.

And i somehow haven't yet, despite asking Judas
pretty please way back when... what a world.

p.s. I'm enjoying the familiar names I used to talk with. Ah nostalgia.

Made up in 14th century to please an angry group of people in the 21st century... Makes sense.

That its use has been heavily adopted by certain groups in the recent years is true, but that doesn't void its original meaning or something.

thats what i wrote it was used in the past then not and now it was picked up by a group , the current adaptation is artificial and forced, i wouldnt call that part of a language

Not to pull rank, but are you a native English speaker? The example I gave is a perfectly normal usage in English and has been for a very long time.

When he posted here first I thought tinyE was a girl but later he displayed himself as a guy AFAIR so I think 'he' is the correct pronoun.

It never fell out of use. Your bias is affecting your ability to process facts.

Money, most probably. Ie. they try to select games that they believe has the most potential to bring any money to the store.

Is there something suggesting this is not their motive?

I recall them also mentioning many times on this forum of their ongoing battle against cancer, so... Unless someone here has seen them alive and well.

micktiegs_8: No wall of text here, just a partial passive aggressive post.

I've been here a long time, since goodoldgames dot com. Back then, curation 'choices' were understood by everyone.

Now that we've been in the realm of good/middle/garbarge/new/somewhat new/old/games (yes you read correctly), it's like a damn roller coaster.

Anyway I'll leave this here. Looking forward to the sad sacks who do the rounds 'grudge-downvoting' like it means anything. To everybody else, you're all truly wonderful - have a good one.
My guesses: games with a reasonably high base price (like the pron games); games from indies and publishers who are willing to publish here; the occasional "big-deal" games / games with name recognition, often AAA (again, from the big-name publisher actually willing to publish here); old games that don't need much technical fixing, unless they're extremely popular for which fixing them up would be financially worthwhile; and games for which client multiplayer is not a very important part (since most publishers won't spend the resources to port to GOG's very small userbase). And probably others I missed.

/And as all forum users know, GOG is Literally Schmitler and we will not stop until there is nothing left./s

Wrong again. "It" is a dehumanising pronoun and is considered extremely rude to use for a person. You'd know this if your English skills were as good as you seem to think they are.

EDIT: Like idbeholdME, I'm going to drop this. You are categorically wrong and there is not much more that can be said.

Says a Hungarian guy to a British guy xD

Anyway, this is only going to plateau in derailing the thread, so I'm dropping this topic.
