Using Opera browser and always get 2meg,but it slows Gog forum down big time.
After DL complete Gog is free flowing again.Must be some sort of resource usage
bug in Opera.

Is there a way to download without using Galaxy? I mean how can you download from browser?

btw I canceled the download last night. I ended its suffering :)

I only get 171 kbs
pitfall of living in rural area

Work has screaming 375 kbs

I seriously envy all of you. I just joined and I'm downloading at 20-30 Kb/sec.
Thank goodness it's an old game and not too heavy, but it's still going to take at least 24hours to complete this download, it's absolutely and totally unacceptable.

my normal is in the 100-120 kb\s range & that's what I get here. DL multi-gb games take patience

Gog has always been very slow. Never going over 2MB/s which for my country is extremely slow. Standard downoad speed here is around 100Mbit/s download.

I recalled when I first joined GOG when Witcher 2 came out the download speed was about 1M/ sec. This year when I purchased Pillars of Eternity the speed was also fine. Then I bought Witcher 3, the speed had become somewhat unstable and I blamed it on the popularity of the game. Yesterday I purchased The White March and the speed was just unacceptable. (40-60k /sec) BTW I live in Asia so the issue is not affecting US users only.

Wow, that sucks. I recently downloaded all my games from GOG (for an offline backup on my external drive) and only for 2 games I got half of my downloadspeed I should have. Normally about 6 MB/sec. But I saw it and started a second download which used the other half.

Just got Baldur's Gate enhanced edition. The download is 40kb/s. I am so disappointed. It way my first time using GOG.
I would really like to give them another shot but seriously, for a 2 gig download that would be done in 20 min on steam why am I bothering. I feel like I just wasted money uggh.
