Alright, The Senran Kagura series is a Musou (or action brawler, if you prefer) about (Mostly) endowed girls going to shinovi (Ninja) school and doing shinovi things. There's 2 series with sort of separate plotlines the main one for 3DS which includes Burst and Deep Crimson, has a more 2d sidescroller gameplay. While the Vita (and now PC) series of Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus are full 3D action games.

Bon appetit is a complete spin-off and is about a cooking competition instead, I think it's partly japanese crazyness and partly fetish fuel. The intro is pretty well done because apart from the fan service there are a ton of little visual gags like the pink girl Hibari fucking up and eating shit at 00:18 like the klutz she is. The song is really catchy I think too.

About the releases it's because Xseed who until recently had good ties with gog has released Shinovi Versus on Steam but not gog. In my theory because it has a multiplayer component

Oh there's also a mobile card collecting game called New Wave Girls, and the next game in the series is going to be a spin off too, apparently a water gun based Third person shooter called Peach Beach Splash.

yeah, so I gathered but Shadow warrior 2 has crossplay just fine.

Shadow warrior 2 was developed with crossplay in mind. This is a japanese port of an not-so-recent-if-not-old vita game held together with ramen noodles. it's a miracle that it works at all.

Better than nothing I guess... but I would have preferred Versus, I am not a huge fan of rhythm games.

The problem with Hatred was more that... well... it was a bit crap, boring and full of bugs.

Yea if it weren't for the gimmick of 'kill innocent humans like they're worth nothing with totally gruesome abandon', it wouldn't have made a fraction of its sales. It's really got nothing to do with SJW disposition, from my own experience of gameplay.

I used to think i didnt like those games too. Then i grabbed SKBA on a psn sale early 2015 or so.
Lets just say i enjoyed it so much i earned the platinum trophy. Life is funny like that sometimes : )

I believe the fact im a huge fan of the source material helped of course but then i found myself playing FF Theatrythm on 3DS.
