Iceissteve: Sadly it's still in 2D. The one I'm trying to find is in 3D like when you walk in Doom or Quake.

HunchBluntley: As in, you play the game (or part thereof) from your character's visual perspective ("first-person perspective")? Or can you see the character you're controlling? If the latter, does the game "camera" follow your character from behind? Or is there some other viewpoint, like from the side, or straight above?
The game "camera" follow your character from behind but remember that it's been a long time so it's hard to remember but I had to be behind the character because I was able to see the house shake and numbers on top to know how many characters were in it to defeat it. If you have a name even if not sure I would take it and try it and thank you for all of your efforts.

I have no ideas whatsoever. :) I'm just trying to clarify things and maybe help you shake loose some other details so that other people who might actually know what it is will have an easier time guessing. Narrowing the choices down to those with an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective should help.
Any idea what general type of system you might've played it on?

I was on Pc and the game I tried was around 2003 give or take.
Sorry English isn't my primary language.
There are a lot of those games where you have a base where you create men and you take part of them to go fight another person or computer and if you are left with at least one character you take control of that house and so on.

Just to be sure you're not misremembering some things, take a look at
Sacrifice,
Armed and dangerous and
Giants: CK and tell us if they are similar to what you're looking for.

Titanium: Just to be sure you're not misremembering some things, take a look at
Sacrifice,

Giants: CK and tell us if they are similar to what you're looking for.
That was fun, first I think the one I'm searching for is more cartoony, second the shaking of the house and the numbers over it are key.
After trying all of those I feel like I have part of what I'm searching for but spread into 3 games.
Thanks a lot for this great moment of play. I feel like each message I receive makes me closer to the one I really want.
You guys are collectively awesome.
