Syphon72: When I look at this morning the reviews were different.
avatar
BreOl72: Probably depends on what your settings are.
I only want to see reviews, that are written by "verified owners".
So, that's the box, that I check.
The reviews written by "others" don't interest me.
I usually do most recent review. Can't believe I missed the options to sort by verified

geekgamer: This is such a BS.
Give me back my Platinum edition.
That's what I paid for.
I don't want the new subpar version.
And don't lie to me trying to sell it as a superior re-release.
Keep them separated.
The heck is subpar about debranding and compliance with the Geneva Convention?

Assuming you are asking nicely and not being a sarcastic jerk.
It's subpar because it's not the original experience I paid for. It's not the game I played years ago and am nostalgic for.
Removing something I paid for and replacing for something else, regardless of the reason and regardless how minimal the changes might be for you, is a subpar experience for me as a buyer.
It's not a case of bringing back compatibility to a current OS. It's not a case of fixing a game breaking bug.
It's a case of replacing a functioning product I bought for something different when it clearly could be dealt differently with what could just be different SKUs.
I hope it's clear for you now as why I view this as a version downgrade and a underwhelming turn of events.

If it's any consolation:

1. Bring up the RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition entry in the library
2. Change Language to "Deutsch", or any of the languages other than "English"
3. Download the original 2016 (Platinum) build (setup_rollercoaster_tycoon3_2.1.0.16.exe) from the Download Offline Backup Installers link below

No, you're complaining about ephemeral at best differences, and a naff chocolate brand being removed. There are no mechanical changes.

It sounds like Frontier is having financial difficulty. Hopefully they will eventually decide that more money is good and release their stuff here.
We're talking Frontier here - not very likely unfortunately. I would love to see Planet Zoo and the Jurassic games here.
There is a fine line when I "get" these kind of games, and when not.

In e.g. Rollercoaster Tycoon and Theme Hospital, I stopped playing after awhile because somehow the games seemed kinda pointless, like why exactly am I trying to figure out how to decorate the hospital reception with plants and shit in Theme Hospital, or where to put a soda kiosk or the toilets in Rollercoaster Tycoon, and what kind of rollercoaster I should try to make and should I test it beforehand so that it doesn't kill anyone...

Then, for some reason, I had no such problems playing e.g. Dungeon Keeper 1-2. I was interested enough to try to figure out where to put training rooms or hatcheries for food etc., and try to train a strong enough army to kill any enemies in the level etc. Not sure if DK1-2 are considered to be in the same genre as RCT or Theme Hospital, but close enough...

Maybe some day I will get it how to enjoy these games. You never know until you try.

If that's what you have to say disregarding what I said, then you didn't want to know my point of view or understand what I was objecting to. You already had your mind set to annoy me because you believe you're morally superior.
You were, in fact, being a sarcastic jerk.
Please, don't bother me again.
