Grargar: I can't wait to see what kind of crafty schemes they come up with for Cyberpunk 2077.
I expect the ads to protrude from the screen and smack us with a rolled-up frontpage.

But (unlike the gwent/witcher things) I'm actually interested in that cyberpunk game, so I'm genuinely curious on whether it will discourage me or not.
in the meanwhile some VIP at headquarter EA ist thinking...: hihihihihi

Not my type of game, wish all the success for it.
But i'll immediately leave the page every time this obnoxious ad shows, and no, I dont click on "skip this ad" buttons

Holy....

I was honestly surprised when I visited gog.com today. People have been asking to remove that annoying banner that takes up ~30-50% of my screen (depending on resolution). While I understand that we're only the vocal minority, but what I wasn't expecting is to just have to click through an even more annoying ad, taking up 100% of my screen...

Is this really how GOG wants to differentiate itself from its competitors? They better be swimming in money after all these marketing tricks...
Bloody hell GOG, get that crap off the front page. I don't mind seeing advertisements but this is shoving it right down our throats. Hold on whilst I remove that new Witcher mobile game out of my arse, you shoved it in that far.

I don't think I've ever seen such bad web design. Ignore all the basics and make all elements as big and obnoxious as possible. Way to go...

My jaw actually dropped when I logged in today.

GOG, go home, you're drunk.

Well, that was an unwanted attack on my screen. Your front page became annoying to navigate and now that massive clip at start? Stop it, that makes you look desperate GoG.

Or... are you desperate? oO

Oh, did you also get a whole ad page about it in German and had to click on a button to get the regular GOG homepage? (despite not being on a German IP)
Is this what we get for GOG appealing to all the cool and trendy kids? Make everything shiny for the stupid people!

Grargar: Guess GOG only sells the Witcher series, after all.

I can't wait to see what kind of crafty schemes they come up with for Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe some sort of account-hacking or the second site shutdown; it would fit the game's theme well.
Ransomware. lol

Does posting stuff like this actually make you feel any better?
Looks like the fanclub doesn't like my questions .

I think you are unfair: Why shouldn't the preload be reason enough for five star reviews by verified owners? ;-)
