i was interested in Wolcen (after D3 lost me completely when Blizzard said it needs BN 2.0 and no LAN Mode)
the removal doesn t make me sad in any way, since it is still ... yeah STILL early access.

Also got myself Grim Dawn + the DLCs which is (in my Book) the better D3 and it is finished and
has even supported crossplay with Steam. So yeah... not in the slightest sorry for that removed
game.

paladin181: Update parity is exactly that. Parity of updates. Parity means approximate equality. Disparity is the lack of equality. You compare thing to test their parity. Update parity between GOG.com and other platforms (see: Steam) means that GOG.com's version of the game is not updated to the same level. Since they're leaving GOG.com, we can only assume that it is less, rather than more.

EDIT: Damn Necropost... Sorry.
Thank you very much for your helpful explanation! I really appreciate it! I had not noticed the word root previously, so that was also good for me to learn. :D

For a very long time, Grim Dawn didn't support Crossplay. That's very good news if the Grim Dawn devs finally put Crossplay into it though.

They did. I just did a stream with a friend who was playing a Steam copy about a week and a half ago, and I was running my GOG copy.

Have a great night!

I can confirm that crossplay in Grim works, although it sometimes bugs out with "can t connect to server"
Msg and i have no clue why. As far as it concerns the removal of Wolcen, we have Grim Dawn on GoG
and i can glady recommend Grim Dawn to anybody.

And Titan Quest / Torchlight 1&2 / Sacred 1&2 / Victor Vran / The Adventures of Van Hellsing 1-3 and Complete / the Heretic games / all of Soldak's games / more that I'm probably forgetting... and of course the grandaddy of them all DIABLO!

Plenty of ARPG clicking goodness :P

omega64: Devs are dicks for refusing to update. Good riddance. :/
How hard is it to upload a file on the internet? Literally a few minutes work tops. And I thought I was lazy. Devs are probably butthurt that the game sold so little on GOG so they've decided to seek revenge on GOG users by cutting support.

No they decided to produce game for macro-transactions master race.

Wolcen studio is a scam business.
Scamming people on global scale.

PS: On friday i wanted to check how far is this game, etc. I see scam artists removed it.
Since I got scammed with pagan online(stay away from those scam artists as well)... I want other kind of ARPG that won't scam me, and I can't find none.

At long last ... today I got my refund from WolcenFraudStudio, therefore I'm done with this rip off company.
I put in for a refund a while back. Of all the games I own on GOG this is the first game I requested a refund. I received my refund almost instantly. Good on GOG, bad on this chicken-shit developer.

Enebias: I hope the devs are held responsible for this. GOG should demand the damages in both sales and reputation.
It's probably GOG's fault because they obviously did not include some kind of section in their contracts which says "If you put a game on our platform, you MUST keep it at update parity with Steam" or something like that. Then they would actually be able to take devs to court for breach of contract if they don't update. You cannot expect companies to play nice, I mean it's nice if they do but you always need a plan B.
I just found this thread.

Funny thing, I backed this on kickstarter, as they promised a drm-free version. But I didn't get the beta pledge or whatever, so I never got a gog key to begin with.
So I guess I'll now have to ask for a refund on kickstarter and see how that goes (...)

l8r!

PS: There's a reason why I don't back videogames anymore. Between backers don't caring about drm-free nowadays and developers backpedaling on their promises, even those project that actually get released are quite scammy.
So... How do I play this now..?

Can't find anywhere to download/install it.

It’s been removed from the store as per post 1, if you preordered it should still be in your library at the last update state.
Out of interest, why would you want to find it other than to get a refund? It’s been removed here, and from other reviews it’s become a D4 clone that’s in endless development, perhaps just waiting for auction house. Me I would avoid like the plague.

Well now that the game is done and multiplayer is removed, please return this game to GOG.
