Judicat0r: Luckily I would say, taking a look at what they did with DooM.
..
Maybe they can make a sequel true to the original.

TheMonkofDestiny: Eh, I'm okay with Doom. I think a lot of it has to do with the cultural hype that follows it and when id got the chance to make another game in the series, they shaped it accordingly. Does it work for every Doom boy, girl and gelatinous hypersexual omnipresent being out there? Probably not, but the old Doom is still kicking for those types. I'm sure people will age and march on toward their deaths proclaiming that people will "take Doom from their cold, dead hands". Or some weirdos may have stipulations to be buried with it.
Fair enough, it's just that for my tastes they basically turned the game inside out

TheMonkofDestiny: With Quake, things shifted radically with who worked on it and who didn't work on it. It going from Lovecraft-ian atmospheric killscape to "ooo-rah, stomp a mud hole in alien butt" to "lolguize, how u like da taste of my railz?!11" makes it hard to know what anyone expects from it as a series anymore. I think id are okay with it being planted in the multiplayer pot for now and that's fine but I would absolutely be ecstatic to see a continuation of what the first game was. Whether it comes as a reboot or a genuine sequel doesn't make much difference, so long as the final result is a damn good game.
Yeah they at some point kept following the sci-fi theme pulling out in the end all that crap of the Stroggs that honestly they should've kept in a drawer IMHO, but what's somehow reassuring is that what they've shown with QC stilistically and architecturally fits very much neatly in the the orignal look of Q1.
Best in-game screenshot :p

ShadowWulfe: Very cool. Youngblood next?

TZODnmr2k5: A part of me agrees, but the other part does not care if that game comes over here or not as it's generally agreed that it's a piece of shit game...
It may be kind of shite, but it would complete the storyline / series here. Unfortunately it has microtransactions in it as far as I know. That COULD be a problem releasing it here. Would be instabought nevertheless.

I would buy it because of the "alternate 80s" setting. The soundtrack is kind of nice, too. The girls tend to OVERACT quite strong, but I can overlook that. It is at least playable.

"Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot" on the other hand is truely rotten. Even for a gimmicky VR game, that one is the pits. See Youtube "longplays"... oO

EDIT:
Still missing old stuff (which is not in legal hell): "Hunted - The Demon's Forge", "Rage 1+2", "Rogue Warrior", "Brink". The rest seems to be hold up in hell or has CC in it. And the new DOOMs of cause.

Waiting for RAGE. It's a 9 years old game, why is so difficult to bring it here, Bethesda & GOG?

Nergal01: I think he's referring to the fact that there is an actual Communist faction in the game which, of course, also opposes the Nazis. Which, however, doesn't make TNC a pro-Communist game. The group you interact with is more a like a bunch of people who've read about the ideology but are far removed from being realistic in any way.
The story in this game is so over the top I don't really think anyone should take it seriously. Yes there is some "SJW" stuff in it I guess, but it's so comedic and silly I can't imagine being sensitive about it. The people saying the crazier stuff like "shut up white boy!" or whatever are also made fun of plenty and shown to be nutjobs. It's very much a comedy, really, with its only actual political point being that fascism is bad, which it is.

The real issue with the game IMO is that the level design is kinda bland, which is weird because it was so good in the first two reboot games. The shooting is great though.
So I made a mistake and purchased the deluxe edition instead of standard, I have submitted a refund request 2 days ago, so I can buy the version I wanted, but it will most certainly take a while before it gets processed by someone (such are the times, its understandable)

My question is this, can I download and play now until I hear back from GOG or will this revoke my refund request?

Am I allowed to contact a "blue" user for this question? Has anyone else been in my situation before?

Thank you, happy holidays!

P/S Bring more bethesda games here please, I want to play DOOM16. :D

That 30 day refund policy is described as unconditional. So far, I only refunded games I installed before. I always had them uninstalled by the time I requested a refund, but I'm not sure if that is an information that GOG even has access to (and certainly something they don't evaluate right now). You should be able to play the game as you see fit without any consequences. The longest I played a game at the time of refund was about 9 hours with Hero Land (which I strongly advice against buying...).

Thanks for replying, I will take the chance and download it cause my down speed is pretty low and don't really want to wait even more before playing, but I won't launch it yet just in case they can deny me for that reason.

Is there a way to contact a blue just for this question?

Judicat0r: You did buy the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Standard Edition and Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles - Season Pass?
Yes I did.

A funny thing, was that in the Cart before purchase, it told me the Season Pass was included in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Pretty obvious that was an error though, as the only difference between Standard and the Digital Deluxe Edition, is that Season Pass.

For me, they were the following prices.

AUD $15.99 - Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
AUD $10.49 - Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles - Season Pass
----------------
AUD $26.48 (I paid)
----------------

AUD $33.99 - Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Digital Deluxe Edition

P.S. This a fairly common occurrence at GOG with discounts. Last happened for me a few weeks ago with Prey. As I have seen in a few threads here though, it can vary between countries ... some do actually get the Deluxe Edition of a game cheaper ... and for others both are the same price.

Nobody really needs Youngblood. That game was very bad compared to the other games in the series that Machine Games developed. First the two daughter characters are cringe as hell and in no way a worthy replacement for B.J. Blazkowicz. Second the shooting was very unsatisfying with enemies that turn into bullet sponges and the most important thing: you can't really play the game alone. It was created with co-op in mind so you either have to play it together with a friend or you have to play it with an AI partner that is very stupid and will not stop standing between you and the enemies which makes the awful feeling shooting even more annoying. The only good thing about it was the level design done by Arkane Studios.

So we still need Skyrim and Fallout 4 and Doom 2016...
But this is still a good game that I will buy

I played it already. It is dumb, but partly fun. For a budget release / with low sale price you can have some fun time with it. I await it here now. You do not have to buy it. :)
