TheMonkofDestiny: Quake hasn't been rebooted either. Wolf '09 got sidelined when MachineGames saw success with their game(s). Seeing it turn up here might as well go on the "it's as possible as Hexen/etc." list as far as Raven and Activision id games go.
When Bethesda bought id software and all their ips before Wolf '09 was released, they clearly had no interest in promoting a game that had been developed under the auspices of a rival publisher. And then they went for the first excuse they could find to bury the game.

The real losers here are the gamers and Raven. Wolfenstein and Singularity were two expensive failures for the company. Which is why Raven only gets to work on Call of Duty DLCs and the like. Then again, at least the developer still exists. >_>

Pretty much.
Great addition to the GOG catalogue!
And 2020 is not over yet... surprise, surprise... what awaits us at the end of this year...
Thank you, GOG!
Haven't played this iteration of the rebooted Wolfenstein series, but I liked what they did with the first two. Ironically, I already owned those first two games on Steam and didn't feel like chainsawing through all the achievements again for GOG, so I never purchased. Given that "Old Blood" and "New Order" were discounted down very heavily at the time, I think I'll hold off on this one for maybe a better price down the road.

Not unreasonable. It's seen steeper discounts in this past week alone for both base and deluxe versions, just without that no-DRM sugary coating.
Fuck, I just bought that a month ago on Steam - did not think it might come here after M$ acquired Zenimaxx/Bethesda.

But yeah great that GOG brought it here, Thanks!

I don't get this release. Does the deluxe edition have all the DLCs? Or do you still have to buy them separately? The season pass says it includes all 3 DLC packs including episode zero, but there is this "The Freedom Chronicles - Episode 2". Is that another DLC? That one doesn't even have a discount right now.

The season pass includes all Freedom Chronicles episodes. The Deluxe Edition includes all DLCs, but depending on the region, buying the base game and the season pass separately is the cheaper option right now. Buying the episodes separately makes no sense during the sale.

Wait so only the deluxe edition has all the DLCs, but the season pass only has the freedom chronicles episodes? What does deluxe edition have that the season pass doesn't other than the base game?

The Freedom Chronicles are the only DLCs for this game. There's nothing else.

Sorry about the misunderstanding. Should've clarified this in my earlier post.

russellskanne: "Mein Leben!" ist nun um ein Wolfenstein reicher.
Leider fehlt noch der (meiner Meinung nach) beste Teil. :(

Wo ist Wolfenstein 2008!?
...irgendwo im Nirvana. :/

No problem. :)
For PC useres, can a keyboard/mouse be used, or do I i have to use a controller? Or is one better than the other.

Given the price, I am really considering giving the game a try, especially with all the high praise it has received.

Mouse and keyboard can be used and I highly recommend using it instead of a controller. It's an fps game, so you cannot get better aiming than with a mouse.

Unless, of course, you're very good with a controller.
