dtgreene: Edit: The game *does* work in WINE.
Thanks for the update.

falloutttt: So it's like Wizardry 8 but Japanese style ?

Please add achievements and all the extra, same like on steam!

Hikage1983: More like Wizardry 1-5 if you ask me.
But exclude Wizardry 4, as that particular game is very different.
Discount is showing now.

dtgreene: Actually, it's like Wizardry 1-3 but Japanese style.

It's early, but has anyone tried this with WINE yet?

falloutttt: Well I only played the 7 and the 8, and don't know anything about the older ones.

Thank you! :)

falloutttt: Thank you as well! :)
There are already achievements and the other stuff as you can see from the store page now..Probably they didn't update the store page when they launched the game

And bought. Now reconsider and bring "Bullet Witch" here, too, so we can have ALL XSEED titles here. Thanks!

jalister: More like 7 than 8. 1-3 & 5 but with better graphics would be more accurate though.
Sounds good. I like both games pretty equally.

Thank you! :)

It's 9% for me in France. Is that normal ?
One thing of note about this game:

The game, being originally a PlayStation 3 title, is designed to be played with a controller. While playing with a keyboard will work fine (the game is turn-based and doesn't require multiple simultaneous button presses), if you happen to have a game controller, it might be worth bringing it out for this game. Of course, you should just use whichever device is more comfortable for you.

Edit: Naming characters does require the keyboard, but anyone who's played console games that require text input will understand why XSeed made that choice for this version.

Just cost you 10 cents more than it should be.
I want to make note of how the start of the trailer reminds me of the premise of the first Ys game.

As a new desktop linux user: thanks.

Yes ofc. Haven't touched those since the 90s.

Buying this now. I enjoyed the demo on ps3 back in the day but never got around to doing so there.

For a complete XSEED pc catalogue, it will take far more than just Bullet Witch. Tho to my knowledge, that is the only one missing that has a DRM-free version elsewhere.

"If you want to catch up with some of the earlier Wizardry games..."

I'd love to. When are the first five and Gold going to be here?

Same. I'm waiting for the day I see Wiz 1-5 on GOG.

Mafwek: Isn't it more like Wizardry: Tale of Forsaken Land for Playstation 2?
Tale of the Forsaken Land was more of a Japanese take on Wizardry 6, 7 or perhaps 8 (though it was still grid based unlike Wizardry 8), Labyrinth of Lost Souls sticks very close to the original Wizardry 1 format.

I do think Tale of the Forsaken Land was a much better game than this, but I still enjoyed my time with Labyrinth of Lost Souls on PS3, so I'll be picking it up again.
I never heard of the gameserious before. Can you people explain me, what this game is about or better how the gameplay is? I can hardly imagine if it would be for me or not.
