Remember when dinosaurs were all the rage and aliens were still scary? Ah, yes, the 90s. What a magical time to be growing up. Imagine a jungle-like land populated with unfriendly aliens. Now throw in some aggressive flora for added inhospitality. Surely, dinosaurs are the next logical addition. No wait, make that dinosaurs with guns. All that's missing now is an angry Native American warrior of time-travelling heritage to clean up the mess and thwart a great evil in the process. There, pure 90s.

Thankfully, Turok is not in the habit of entering such exotic-but-hostile lands unprepared. $20? Really? This price for an 18 year old game is WAY off the mark. Drop it to $6, then we'll talk. Until then, nope.

F4LL0UT: AWESOME. Would be an instabuy but to be honest it's priced too high, especially considering that clearly there hasn't been too much remastering actually.
i dont know, only know the game from old videos that were uplaoded on youtube, its a 3d fpp so i never know how they played in the past, cause i dont play, use or buy them.

So tomorow underrail will released? 18th of december i read.

steam alpha shows it was 7.99 or so, so i am curious.



update: it now shows 14,19 €

maybe it will arrive when/if the gog team can get them ?
sometimes it arrives later, if it exists there's always a chance it might be added later.

timppu: One more thing (which IMHO wasn't stressed enough): I recall it had quite a lot of 3D platform jumping in first person view. I mention it in case you dislike that. You have to look downwards in order to see when you should jump etc.
I found that most of these platform jumping sections became much easier if you used the map as guidance instead of what you are actually seeing.

Steam forums are taking issue with the price too, whether justified or not: http://steamcommunity.com/app/405820

And many people WANT Strife to be released here at 9.99! :P I don't think many people complained about SS Enhanced showing up here at 9.99.

I wonder if adding in the original game as bonus content (configured with a 3dfx emulator) would have added any extra value in people's eyes, and made them more likely to purchase.

F4LL0UT: There's the platforming that timppu mentioned, you actually have to jump AFTER letting yourself drop a bit which is very weird at first but turns out to be a decent forgiving system.

What hasn't been mentioned yet, I believe, is that you can't save anywhere. IIRC there's only the occasional altar that allows you to save. It never bothered me too much but it will surely be a major annoyance for many players unless this was changed in this version.
Yeah, it's a shame they'd made the price so expensive. I guess we'll have to wait for a better discount in the future.

They turn down The Fall Of The Dungeon Guardians for the price of £14.99 but put up an 18 year old game at £10.59 saying there is 20% off, no sorry give this one a miss thanks, would have rather spent my money on The Fall Of The Dungeon Guardians and crawled some dungeons :)

Oh well their loss not mine.

Interesting, but the N64 version is the true and only one version for me ! The best FPS on console... before the release of Goldeneye.
And almost 20€ /20 $ ? Nothing justify more than 10 €/10 $ !

That is exactly what that asshole from the Arian Knights told me if I named my kid Adolf Hitler. Well I didn't get any money and now my poor son us scarred for life!
