I'm getting this problem as well.
Works pretty nicely on Linux in Wine+dxvk/vkd3d-proton.

Try playing the guitar in the prologue apartment :)

I haven't bought a game at launch for a while, and I don't even know when I'd get to play this (glad to see a promising comment about running it under Wine, though); however System Shock is my favourite game of all time, and I might just need to throw some cash at Night Dive to say thanks for making a fairly faithful-seeming remake a genuine reality. I want this to do well.

Yup. Same on my end.
*peeks at the demo page*

That might need a bit of updating now that there's a full product to demonstrate, just like in the old days!

This. Please fix, GOG. Thanks.
I'm not much a fan of these goodie packs which eventually duplicate files in my library. Anyway, it's free, so thank you! :)

But I do not like that now even the catalog page has been degraded to a promo page. That just makes me start to hate the new System Shock before I even have read anything about it.

DubConqueror: What's in the goodie pack? I hate adding something to my library blindly without knowing what I'm adding.

Thank you for pointing it out, It is also working for me as well now.
A goodie-pack which is more than a couple of totaly bland screenshots?
Are you MAD?
I may actually pick this up before the week is up. I was planning on maybe waiting for a sale down the road, but now that I've read all the general very positive impressions of the remake with it updating certain parts while leaving the basic original structure intact... I've also always liked the original over SS2, jank and all.

Decisions, decisions.

At least they don't charge for it. But I would have appreciated more concept art.

Yay! I haven't been this excited since the release of the original System Shock back in 1994!

I wonder when I will be equally excited again? Probably in 2052! I wonder what will be the occasion then?
