The history of Star Wars™ is in your hands.

Star Wars™ Rebellion, a RTS/4X hybrid pitting Rebel forces against the Empire in control for the galaxy, is available now on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - on GOG.com!

Star Wars™ Rebellion (AKA Star Wars: Supremacy) was the first chance that gamers ever got to experience the full scale of the Galactic Civil War. Not only that, but it was also a opportunity to actually impact (or even prevent!) key Star Wars events, decisions, and ultimately the outcome of the war. In Star Wars™ Rebellion you will either lead the Rebellion or ruthlessly quench it as the Galactic Empire, the two factions offer a degree of asymmetrical gameplay with just enough diversity to satisfy multiple playthroughs. The technologically superior Empire has one mission: to destroy the Rebel base, but they'll have to find it first. As a Rebel leader, your main concern will be to remain an unknown, moving target. Evade the reach of the Empire for as long as possible while amassing the support and firepower to strike back once and for all.

Shape your very own Star Wars timeline in Star Wars™ Rebellion, available now on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - on GOG.com!

tinyE: Thank you Sir. :D
On the other hand, there's Star Wars: The Old Republic currently running, for which payment is optional if you mostly care about story.

DampSquib: You can play it on GamerRanger if that helps.
Seen a few playing it.....
The question is always if the GOG version works, though, at least out of the box. I tried GOG's version of Outlaws with GameRanger and it just crashed while there seemed to be people out there playing a non-GOG version online.

It works, sorry carn't help with Outlaws don't own it, Outlaws problem could be GR specific, i know it's played on Warzone, and as you say doesn't work on GR. ( sorry i carn't be more helpful ).
So, a board game company I love is actually doing a... well... board game version of this. Looks a bit interesting based on the very early promo blurbs.
Multiplayer is where this game shines. It's an incredibly good multiplayer game.
Looks interesting. Wishlisted.
