Girls just wanna have fun.

Shining Song Starnova is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

They may harbor dark secrets, insecurities, bad habits, the works. At the end of the day, though, these are seven young ladies, simply dreaming big in an industry where dreams don't come cheap. As the Producer, your job is to approach these talented singers, get to know them, then help them reach their full potential.

Pick up the Soundtrack and Vocal Collection separately or grab them together with the main game in the Limited Edition.

For more extravagant action and emotional adventures, check out our special Japanese Sale with games up to 80% off until August 1st, 10pm UTC.

Mich-666: Sekai Project: GOG has requested last minute content edits before the release of Shining Song Starnova. We'll update the free DLC on Denpasoft in light of the edits. If you already own an early access copy on Steam or GOG, you will have to re-download and re-apply the DLC once it is updated.

So what's the point of bringing visual novels to GOG as alternative to Steam if you're gonna censor them anyway?

These is some bullshit PR practices kicking in.

Bigs: Thought I stuffed up when they went looking for the swimsuits...
Would have been nice to know... at least they are fixing it.. but yeah... pretty unimpressed if they still censor silently

Btw where was the source of that quote?
It was a Facebook post.
This... or Gal Gun 2 on Steam.
Choices choices.

MarkoH01: What kind of VN is this? Just read and klick like the other one?
It's a Harvey Weinstein simulator. o.O

Hahaha Such a wonderful day we have! More VNs are coming! This Visual Novel's Art looks pretty cute and beautiful! An eye candy for sure! Although it's price costs a bit more than Mary Skelter: Nightmares or the Agarest games...

I'll just wishlisted this game for now! Nonetheless I'm always dream to be a producer of some kind, especially Idol girls hehehe! Naughty me lol!

This is the largest game Love In Space had ever produced in size, 3GB!? Wow!!! Their Sunrider games are only worth 1GB, excluding Sunrider Academy which only 686MB plus, but still a fun game to play!

Anyways thanks for making this game/VN available at GOG.COM! Steam sucks as usual lol!

You do realize that Steam's version is pretty much on parity when it comes to censoring such things. That and the uncensor patches for these are easily attainable from the devs' website.

See above.

GOG should offer uncensored content by default, both to better adhere to the principles of DRM-free and to differentiate from Steam.
I really like that GoG is basically doing what 90s Sega is right now, though a lot less... direct, in challenging Steam. The fact that they're picking up games that Steam is leaving behind and disrespecting with their delays and utter opaqueness... its sort of funny. I didn't expect GOG to pick these games up but I heartily approve of this.
Keep doing this sort of thing and you might win me over again... (though, just saying an apology would placate a lot of people including myself, and this whole tension can friggin' end)

Agreed. They should just go full 90s Sega at this point. (Well, maybe not their social media accounts because they wouldn't be able to handle the heat but... the storefront is more important)
Shame Sekai and Manga Gamer didn't do Connect though as I own most of the ones they released earlier already on Steam.

When I do get this one it will be on GOG but, I'd be more inclined to shell out for new games from them if I wasn't looking for a massive sale to repurchase their games I already own, kinda like all the DLC I would've bought for Project Highrise if they'd given me a GOG copy of the game rather than just owning the base game over on Steam.

So any GOG staffer willing to comment on why this game had to have partial nudity removed, while there was no similar issue with The Witcher 3?

SEGA's great mistakes were the infighting and too many short-lived consoles. I think that GOG should definitely bring the fight to Steam, not just wait as the world moves on without GOG. It was DRM-free that brought me to GOG, and it is the general passivity of GOG that is now making me skeptical.

Bring the heat, GOG. This kitchen could use some fire.

I was searching like crazy for this. I thought the demo was only available for Patreon members. Thank you!

Edit: It seems you need an acount to download?

It was not GOG who removed anything. It seems as if this is just the version they received from the publishers. They probably want it this way for whatever reason.

you do... but you can fake it ;) just create an account using whatever email and other details, the page will still give you download links, you don't have to "verify" your email or anything ;)
