Reclaiming your soul, one fireball at a time.

Risen 3: Titan Lords, an epic open-world RPG about wresting your soul back from the forces of evil, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

Unchecked by the gods, the Titans were free to ravage the land, leaving humanity broken to lick its wounds, regroup, and launch a desperate attempt at retaliation. You awaken from a sleep of the dead, after a fateful encounter with a Shadow Lord has left your soul trapped in the Underworld. Claiming it back will prove a desperate race against time as the longer it stays separate from your body, the closer you get to becoming an unwitting minion of the Shadows.

Allying yourself with one of the opposing guilds has been a pinnacle of the series and in Risen 3 you must be particularly cautious when choosing sides as everyone has their own secret agenda and ulterior motives. But when politics and shady dealings fail, you can always rely on your glistening weapon or your blistering fireballs to bend the open-world to your will. Devastating magic, intense combat, and open exploration await you in the shadow of the Titan Lords.

Choose your path to greatness and reunite with your soul in Risen 3: Titan Lords, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you crave the extra adventures found in the game's DLCs, treat yourself to the Complete Edition now or opt to upgrade later.
The 50% launch discount will last until the end of our Weekend Promo on February 23, 7:59 AM GMT.
Wait.. it's $0.11 cheaper to buy the main game + upgrade than to buy the complete edition directly...

This doesn't make any sense o0...

($11.09 + $5.49 = $16.58 vs. $16.69 for the complete edition)

Extremely wishful thinking. ;)

It was similar for some Stardock title last year - Fallen enchantress I think. New pricing model for DLCd games? :)

I'm seeing $9.99 + $4.99 = $14.98 (versus $14.99); which is still cheaper but call it a rounding error (which they'll always round in their favor). So maybe it's a currency-thing.

It used to always bug me some restaurant I used to go to - you could order many menu items a la carte and save money over ordering the same things in the various 'combos' that they also had. This reminds of that.

Not in this case. Just some quirks of GOG's conversion rate. If you use €, the price is more or less the same:

Base game: €9.99
DLC: €4.99
Complete Edition: €14.99

Yup, you pay one whole cent more, but you also have the benefit of never again seeing the Complete Edition box remain unowned. ;)

Did they put a real Single player from the start (in one of the patch) or it's the same has it was on steam ?
That you need to finish mission 1, quit, reload your save & after that before choosing a mission put the game in invite or friend mode to really play single mode ? O_o

Um, aren't you confusing this with some other game?
Finally! I have been waiting for Risen 3 for quite a while!
Uhm... that said... alas right now I am in the same ecomomic situation of the castaway nameless hero, so it will be an assured buy for another time.

One day, one day we´ll get the game. :D

Nope, I pre-ordered the game on steam and played it at release time, after 5min a unknown player enter my game, after finishing mission 1 I had to save&quit, put invite/ friend to semi-deactivate Co-op before choosing a mission.
As it seem that Co-op mode was activate by default and no deactivation until finishing Mission 1, after a total of 1 H play I have deinstalled it and never touched it again -_-;
Happy to see Risen 3 here at last:)

This game has no co-op mode. You must be confusing it with something else.
Also there are no missions etc...

MBiL_248: Secret Files Tunguska
I'd buy that immediately if it showed on GOG. I'll buy pretty much any game based off of a real-life mystery, even if it doesn't turn out as good as I had hoped (ref. Kholat).
