Nymphomaniac - Sex Addict is a visually stunning, photorealistic game – and it’s now available in early access on GOG!

The action of the game takes place in the apartment of a nymphomaniac - Vydija. Her apartment is full of activities and mini-games. The player can explore them in any order and pace. Time passes slowly, and if we are careful, Vydija's story will never end, allowing us to play it in another time loop.

Now on GOG!

TheGrimLord: Might not be a good idea to recommend what some might consider extremely brutal horror torture porn over a simple sex game like this one.

PaterAlf: In which twisted parallel universe would Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac be considered extremely brutal horror torture porn? It has a FSK16-Rating here in Germany and similar ratings in several other European countries and it ran successfully in most arthouse cinemas.

It certainly isn't a fun family movie, but "extremely brutal horror torture porn" is on of the most ridiculous exaggerations I've ever heard.
That is half correct. The DC at least got the 18. With everything else I do agree :)

Let me congratulate you . It has taken you a long time and many posts, but you have finally reached the level of Ancient-Red-Dragon.

Please don't quote or reply to me . I'll just ignore you from now .

Fun fact ... the post I edited was not adressed at you - but I don't care if haters ignore me. I don't need haters in my life.

GoGloulou974: Hello GoG Team,

For owners of Paranoid, we are supposed to receive a code to obtain the game nymphomaniac, according to Madmind Studio.

Wasn't it easier to grant the game to Paranoid owners as usual? (like Neckbreak for example)

DyNaer: Check this thread if you didn't....
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/a_notice_to_all_owners_of_paranoid_on_gog_1/page1

After that for your second point : i would say different studio, so ... with some countries restrictions maybe it wasn't possible to do the same.

The marketing consent mentioned (must be turned on) in the other thread is just a piece of crap imho.
Hi DyNaer,

Thank you.
Hi

I got Nymphomaniac with GOG code.

Thank you

Unfortunately, I just found out that I can't get a GOG key because I live in Germany. I don't want an alternative key for the Madmind Studio launcher because I don't want to install another launcher. I guess I'm out of luck then. :-(

SargonAelther: What does that have to do with curation? How is a GOG curator suppose to know whether the devs plan to keep the game up to date in the future or not?

Or are you suggesting that outdated games should all be removed from sale after a certain period of time?
avatar
TheGrimLord: I would suggest a warning (red lettering) that this game has not received any updates from the developer over a three month span and to consider purchasing at the customer's own risk.
I was just about to do a separate post on how, for an early access game, this bit from the DEV is concerning:

*Infinite gameplay

Yeah, thankfully, I keep my wallet far, far away from EA titles, with only one exception...

But admittedly I have such a vast video game collection, and as it's the extremely rare EA-bought title, is that I can't yet remember which game that is, which really illustrates the fact that I don't usually buy EA titles!

We may be talking about another film entirely, or we prudish Americans must consider it a bit too much for our senses. Probably one of the two. (shrugs)

Edit: Ah, I got this one completely mixed up with another film series (Nekromantik 1&2). I haven't seen either of these and now I'm intrigued after looking them up.

Breja: You're just salty about people leaving comments you disagree with in these porn threads and you're being a jerk about it. Simple as that.
There is a difference between leaving a "comment" and endless whining in every possible threads about the same thing without ever posting anything new or useful.

Yeah, because "stop posting, I, The Forum Emperor, forbid it!" is very useful.

Just let people post, and if you don't like what they're saying and you're incapable of a sensible conversation, ignore them. I do not for the life of me understand this drive to pester people about negative comments. They are just as valid an opinion as a positive one. And if a complaint keeps coming up, that's probably because the issue it complains about keeps coming up. That's not a logical reason to shut up.

Anyway, that's all from on the subject. I already know from experience that a reasonable conversation about this is all but impossible around here, especially in connection with porn games, on which subject most people here seem incapable of rational thought.

Do not worry those launchers, they are your best friends i heard.

You will be happy owning nothing... other than a lake of launchers able to even link with each others and just "launch launch and launch".

I never said I had anything against negative comments, just that 99% of those posts are not really worth to be called "comments" but are the closer in both effort and quality of when peoples used to post "first" in every threads.

You will probably disagree but I don't really consider that the second post in this thread was meant to be the starter of any sort of "sensible conversation".

And I do not for the life of me understand this drive some have to complain every time a game they don't like is released. Just let Gog release the games they want, and if you don't like them, ignore them.

I guess that both you and I will continue to have things we cannot understand...
