I'm interested in this game but I will never buy a censored version. The main selling point of the game is its adult themes lol... There's litteraly no point in playing a toned-down version. Please GOG add the original version!
They should have called it the N version. N for neutered.

TheGrimLord: This is the dev's fault...but this was a pure developer decision.
The censorship may have been a "pure developer decision," but GOG choosing to allow the censored garbage version to be sold on GOG was certainly not.

GOG is equally to blame for allowing that to happen, especially since the real original unbutchered version isn't on GOG.

For example, GOG easily could insisted to the devs: either you offer the unbutchered version on GOG, or else our curation will reject your butchered version from being sold on GOG.

Yet GOG didn't do that, hence GOG is complicit in and bears partial responsibility for this debacle too.

I honestly don't understand why if there are two versions of a game why both of them aren't available for consumer choice. After all you can select from three versions of Wasteland 3 with a drop down menu selection, why not for this? C'mon folks it's not that difficult to sort out. More choice = more satisfied customers.

LOL debacle. Your ridiculous black and white view of the world never ceases to amaze me. I don't know how you go through life some days. I agree with the sentiment, they should offer both versions. But let's not act like if the dev didn't want to offer it GOG is in any real position to demand it. Hell, I bought the game because it looks good and the dev has respect for people who don't want explicit content in the game. That is really underappreciated these days.
How long will it take before the developers release an uncensor patch?

Find it strange how people are so uptight about nudity but cool with the insane amount violence in entertainment. Easier to play or watch a TV show on a serial killer than have nudity within it. Just surreal to me.

Looks like the original, uncensored version disappeared from Steam completely guys. Same goes for the first game in the series Lust for Darkness. Now the "M Edition" is the only one that's available for some reasons...

Keep in mind, the uncensored version does contain scenes of rape as in the hentai games you don't like. In fact, the second cutscene with the main character and his girlfriend (and I played it, so can verify) features the two of them having sex, but he becomes very forceful and aggressive while she screams "no, stop!" and eventually throws him off of her and asks what the fuck his problem was.

Does GOG need to mark that as rape porn as well? Also, when the tentacle monster gets a hold of you, I've heard from players that rape is also involved. So are we going to be upset if the adult patch is added and the rape is restored?

We're the grumpiest old gamers on earth. We are going to be upset one way or another.

Good tip! ;) Something must've changed in Steam policy, because a few months ago I had no problems in entering these games pages without logging in.
The only reason I bring this up is because in the adult version, there is confirmed rape.

"While that may sound great, these leather clad weirdos aren't exactly about your pleasure. The Scarlet Lodge is all about sexual torture, murder, rape, dismemberment, and straight up banging corpses."

Rape, dismemberment and necrophilia. So then would it just be cartoons that can't do the raping? It's okay for realistic images of people and monsters to do it?

"However, by midway you’ll be experiencing full orgies, rape scenes, monster banging, and the whole nine yards. I do mean the whole nine. There is full penetration in these scenes: this isn’t a softcore movie. Most of this came off a cringey, but there were scenes that actually got an uncomfortable response from me."

The original is still on Steam. I can't access the site because you have to be logged in to see the store page (+region locked), but there's still a shop page.

Here's a link.
I know it's the discussion board, but that's all I can see. :P

Nevermind, ninja'd :)
