Was downloadable yesterday already. :)
So THAT's what the yesterday update was about. I have a stalled playthrough at level... 10-ish? So far I don't see what the hype is about. It's a nice ARPG, with some unique setting elements. Doesn't seem to stand out that much.

Change that to very nice while current price of the fate edition lasts.

Enjoy the new expansion Fatesworn :)
Very cool. May let this cook for a week or two in case more updates are needed. But always excited for more KoA.

Hello. Thanks for coming in the forums to talk to us.

I was browsing the game files and I noticed that a big part of the game installer's size is on the different localizations the game have. Since we just use one language while we play, and I don't know if this is my ignorance talking here, would it be possible to release a patch so that we download the game only with one localization - the one we choose?

I tried removing languages I don't use from the folder of the game for testing, but the game just crash, which means those files are tied to the code.

Thank you.
I had heard of this but didn't know when it'd come out. I have the base game on Steam, I really need to get the remaster with this DLC here.
I didn't get KoA because I didn't want to pay for DLC of which I didn't know if it would ever come out and I didn't want the base game either because I didn't know if there would be a reasonable upgrade path. As it turns out, that appears to have been a wise decision. The base game is €16 now, the DLC is €18 and the FATE edition is €22. Not really a reasonable upgrade path IMHO so I'm glad I didn't get the base game before the DLC came out.

Let's see if there are some reviews for the DLC.

Unfortunately they do not do this, nor provide decent compression versions either. The installers are poorly compressed probably to facilitate fast expanding rather than archiving. Even pirates offer to repackage languages/additional components so you only download what you need, and repacks if you need to save storage space. Unfortunately GOG is way way behind in their offline installers and lack the manpower/Will to do anything about it. You can’t even get or versions or old patches, and sometimes no patch is made available and almost always now without changelogs and such like.

It’s been mentioned several times before, and games are just getting bigger and bigger each month, serious Sam 4 is some 40gb plus which is fun when it is missing a patch, you get to download it all again (and likely have to store t multiple times in case they broke anything).

Thanks :)

Any revolutionary changes; additions? Like "jump" on space bar? Combat gear that can make the PCs look as interesting/sexy as some of the NPCs or the same boring head-to-toe garb?
Amazing! Congratulations

How would a repack do that with a game like Re-Reckoning if the localizations are tied to the code?
The game didn't even launched when I removed language files from the installation folder after I noticed that they occupy unnecessary space.
There are literally many huge files with language names in them. I just wish we could get rid of the useless space taken for unused files. :l
Looking forward to playing this.
