Fairfox: Double Fine is still a crappily run company. Come at me, bros.
Hmm, I think I've vaguely heard something about that some time ago, but I'm not sure what's giving them that rep, and I'm not sure where to look.

Edit: Sorry, found the info on TVTropes. Heh, can't believe I forgot about that.

Nice to have Headlander, but it would be nice to have Costume Quest 2 as well. :/

Fairfox: This forum is often-times reddit with a grinnin' GOGie face; if you aren't a tote fanboi or gurl over every release and show tote support 'n' solidarity then it happens. Eh, s'all okay if you know what you're gettin' into.
It definetly feels like it.

But what the hell, it's an ok title by devs that can make some interesting games.

Is it some big news that some companies make mistakes and i really dont think they are worse then what EA used to be and still kinda are?
Can we move on now or are you guys planning to keep on coming back to this store to grumble and bother other potential customers?
Im not interested in hearing some random rant in an store when there are no doublefine employees here that can hear your rant
Im here to browse the products in the store, hear about others people experience with the game/product not to hear random people ranting about companys and how evil they are.
Can we rather hear about the product itself and not how evil the company behind it are, wich serve no actual purpose because it doesnt tell me jack shit about the product itself other than some random people on the internet thinks the company behind it are evil.

If you want to make a rant trhead about Doublefine, make one. no one is stopping you here.

thanks for reading.

Edit : It wasnt me that downrepped just for the record.
I cant imagine im the only one tired of seiing rants in a sales thread about a company behind a product and no usefull information whatsoever about the product itself.
The doublefine games isnt the only time this has happened either.

Fairfox: It's honestly too bad in a general thread.
Lol, you are acusing me for not knowing how forums work
ever heard of staying on topic?
Is this thread about doublefine or is it about the product/game headlander?

Off course if you want to stray offtopic no ones stopping you here either
But then i dont understand why you are complaining about getting downrepped for it or complaining that others get downrepped for it
Doublemoral much perhaps??..

Could not agree with you more.

I thought I heard the people over at Giantbomb say this game was pretty fun. I was hoping the forum would contain some opinions from other people about whether the game was good or bad. Sadly there isn't very much, instead we get people complaining that the dev is a poorly run company, like that has any relevance to whether the game is good or not...

Sure people can post what they like, but I don't find those comments particularly enlightening.

They won't ever stop, though.
It's the trendy thing to do with DF nowadays. And my two cents is that it's mainly about Tim Schafer's positioning with all the dumb GG/SJW drama which ended up with their company being a target, and thus every screw up getting magnified in internet's echo chamber.

I had assumed that the real complaint was that Tim Schafer was a left wing feminazi.
Damn, got this on the humble store only 2 days ago.

It's pretty well made and fun from the hour or two I played, production values are reasonably high and it controls nicely on mouse and keyboard (like every pc game should), which gives an advantage considering the amount of ricocheting laser shots you'll be making to get through areas. Puzzles are alright, nothing super complex (so far) but still enjoyable. I only wish that you could reattach the heads you remove from bodies onto other bodies but I understand that's a lot of effort to account for something that doesn't matter all that much.
