Works magnificently for me, as I have Win 10 64/creator's update installed, plus my GPU is a GTX 1080! My steam version does not run at all without some tweak that I've yet to use...Fuck steam...

Just have to repeat that in most cases (Of course there were exceptions) the crashing and instability was caused not by the post XP Windows OS's but because the game does not like processors with more then two cores. Windows 7 shipped at the same time that multi core chips replaced duo core chips as the standard.

candesco: Have the game myself on dvd, but unfortunately it has that dreaded games for windows live.
When i played it i wasn't even able to get those dlc's, as my language wasn't supported on GfW. Bought 4 of the 5 afterwards. I still miss Mothership Zeta, the 5th dlc. I wonder if those who already own the game can turn in the keys to get the gog version. Probably not.

Not even for the DLC.
Just make sure to run the proper exe file (don't remember the name now) and choose what "mods" to run. THe DLC were seeing as mods.
I DID need it. Who knows it's game better now.
I have the original basegame and no game of the year or so and also the dvd version.
That one has game for windows live. And you could download all the dlc's, but that went through games for windows live and it was impossible for me to get them this way. As said, my language wasn;t supported and only those who has an english windows version could download the dlc's through gfwl. Later on 4 of the 5 were released on cd. There was a dlc pack of operation anchorage and the pitt and one of broken steel and point lookout. So i had to grab those dlc's this way. To play fallout 3 i didn't need gfwl no, but i did need it for the dlc's in the first place.

I won't go into detail out of respect to GOG. You didn't need GFWL for DLC. I will just leave it at that.
No matter what, the GOG version is here so that is a pointless discussion. GOG is far better.

WHy do you think that Fallout 3 is the best?

Have a minor beef with GOG over their edition of Fallout 3 GOTY:No manual is included with the game. I still have my paper copy from the boxed edition, but would like to have a digital version. Work on it, GOG.

Exactly, and as player feedback (comments, endorsements) is the only reward for modders (no, I am not going to talk about the various attempts to monetize mods), it's only fair to sign up and at least show appreciation for their work by clicking the "Endorse" button. Being a modder myself (mostly for Morrowind), I know that the community is what keeps modding alive and that's the least everyone can to do contribute.

It's not just for people who dislike Nexusmods it's for people who have been Banned for 0 Reasons like me 0 Reasons were given!

The owner just started hating on me for no damn reason I was talking to him in chat telling him what A nice site he has then he typed /LOL BANG I was completely banned!

that was WAY WAY BACK in 2010 when it Was called TESNEXUS
