The grandest of grand.

Europa Universalis III Complete, among the grandest of grand strategy games, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. Get 66% off your game, or an entire 75% off if you get it alongside the DLC Collection.

The Europa Universalis series is, without a doubt, one of the most legendary and influential grand strategy titles ever released. It singlehandedly spawned a generation of Paradox Interactive titles including Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings and Victoria - all the while remaining the most well-rounded strategy simulator out there. Europa Universalis III is a great starting point on your grand strategy adventure, it'll give you the opportunity to learn the basics and try the many facets of Paradox's signature gameplay - and perhaps move on to a deeper, more focused experience. Or perhaps you enjoy being the lord of every domain. The choice, as always in Europa Universalis III, is truly yours.

You can also pick up the DLC Collection., full of additional content and full blown expansions including Heir to the Throne and Divine Wind.

Europa Universalis III Complete is now DRM-free on GOG.com, the launch discount will last for 5 days, until Tuesday, October 13.

blotunga: Wow, that's a lot of DLCs
Welcome to Paradox games. They generally continue making new DLCs for their games 3-4 years after release. They add up after a while.

Well for Paradox that's a modest number of DLC :)
Cool, now can we get Sengoku, March of the Eagles, Victoria 2 and Ancient Space, please? :D
Nice release and bought!

Yep. Don't wanna criticize the whole "Paradox DLC" deal but their policies on dlc are somehow way more solid than some wild stuff we see out there. They somehow remind me of good old expansions :)
With such a deep discount, sure, why not?
Another Paradox title checked off the list. Scored it with the DLC :)

Keep em coming!

DukeNukemForever: Problem with older Paradox games is that the latest patches are always for the latest addon, that means you will in general the complete package and not just the vanilla game or the first addons.
Although unless GoG or Paradox have done some bugfixing for this release the last version of Divine Wind has a couple of really annoying bugs including not being able to see the peace screen breakdown tooltip and a broken Mongol Hoard declaration of war that makes holding territory in Central Asia frustrating. The EU3 + NA + IN setup (what was originally the complete release) is probably a bit more bug free.

Given that misleading packaging has been perpetrated on this gog release I'm guessing that hasn't happened. Can't GoG get together with other online stores and start putting some pressure on developers to let you actually handle the selling of products so we don't end up with this sort of nonsense?

rodrolliv: We have time :)

JudasIscariot: Time for what? :)
Heh, nevermind. I'm not that interested.
avatar
muntdefems: How can it be "complete" when it has a DLC next to it? :P
avatar
JudasIscariot: It's seriously complicated :)
Are we breaking up? :(
Great release .

Ah.
This Game, spent alot of time playing it.
But im a bit torn on what the best one is.
I liked EU3 alot, its wery easy to colonize other places even though your not a major nation.
Eu4 is more difficult there but diplomacy option is better.

I guess both games have pros and cons
but i think i liked EU3 the best
