HypersomniacLive: Well then, don't let someone else take the largest piece of the pie out of your hands! ;-)
Eh, someone else may have to pursue it. I'm still under investigations for selling those "mana potions". ;)

vicklemos: (...) dev is a nice fellow and a damn hard working one.
Yes, indeed. Surely one of the best game studios out there. ;)

aterdux: Yes, we sent GOG codes to all who requested! If any issues, pm me on Kickstarter!
Just received my code too. Thank you very much! :)

If you had listened to me, you wouldn't have landed in this pickle in the first place... live and learn!

Speaking as a lich, I technically do neither. ;)

Then you should have no problem getting rid of those investigating you. ;-P
Interesting that this gets released when I just finished game + DLC yesterday. Will buy it in a year or two, when it goes on sale. While I love the lore, scenario and general design, I'm not fine with all the bugs and other small things (such as spelling errors, even in the artbook) still being present in the main game which probably won't be addressed anymore.

If you know about some bugs/errors and want them to be fixed, then don't just whine about it. Make a detailed list and send it to the developers.
For bugs, devs would need a description of a bug and steps to reproduce it. Basically, you need to explain what causes the bug to occur and how they can trigger it.
For typos, you need to list game version and language, mistakes themselves and where exactly each of them is located.

I actually have a conflicted opinion about this. The main game was released 1 1/2 years ago, so you would expect most bugs to be fixed. It probably had a beta phase, so ideally, it would release without any issues at all but realistically speaking (and especially nowadays), that's pretty much never the case. I mean, I'm playing version 1.0+, not <1.0. In the latter case, there are bugs present, as it is not the complete game and reporting them is what you should probably do. This isn't the case here...and why would I contact the developer if I want bugs to be fixed? Shouldn't the developer want to fix those bugs and regularly check the forums where his game is being sold? From my point of view, this is the correct and "normal" way to do this.
Going back to the reporting of bugs: Time is valuable and I don't have enough of it (particularly now, as I'm getting ready to move) to meticulously write down all the things I noticed. That's why I only play released games (no betas).

So, helping in general is good but in this case, you can't certainly be expected to do it. Also, it's no whining (as I'm done with the main game and first DLC, so they can fix it or not) but me explaining why I won't buy this game at full (or slightly reduced) price, despite me liking it in general. Others might feel the same but didn't bother to voice their opinion.

I'm actually surprised. I hate to do this, because I always feel like a jerk going with the "I had no bugs so I don't understand why you had them" mentality but I was actually super surprised how stable / polished / playable the game was.

I had a good idea of how small the team was and thought the game was in ridiculously good shape.
Cool turn-based strategy game. I wasn't liking Legends of Eisenwald at first because it was very different from others, but came to like it the more I played it. I haven't finished it yet, but may get Blood of November anyway.

Interesting, considering I had everything, from save game blobbing over small, general bugs (biggest one being a rumor not showing up at all) to the game simply not saving, despite you telling it so (really annoying, especially after a very difficult fight).

Usually I'm on the other side too, not in this case though. What is weird, didn't you notice the spelling/grammar mistakes? We probably played the same version in regards to the language, so I would have guessed others noticed it as well (but to be fair, I always notice every mistake as those really stop the flow and stick out like a sore thumb).

I thought about that too, but in the end decided to not give developers a pass just because they are small or because it's a Kickstarter project (fixing everything completely is always a must though). In the end, I gave the game 4 out of 5 stars which is pretty good.

/edit: The release timing for this wasn't that good, shortly before the fall sale and all that.

I can't remember too many (which is weird you're right - I actually DID read the stories and I usually DO have an eye for such things like you mentioned you do!) - maybe a few missed articles here and there - maybe that will give me an excuse to fire it up again "for research purposes only" ;)

The save thing would bug me to no end so I can see why that left a bad taste. I'm *generally* pretty forgiving when it comes to bugs, but I consider my (frequent) saves sacrosanct in games.

You also have to look for something like: "[...] and the forest it grows far and wide." Yeah, there are still different endings after all + you can go for other decisions throughout the game. So it could be worth it...too bad the achievements don't work here. That would have been another incentive.

Yep, in some cases it's really important. I usually switched to speed 4 after I explored the map, so the auto-save feature is only so useful as it works with the real time.
The save game blobbing would have been a fun bug for you. It's your initial saves + at least 30 (highest was 42) more saves (which couldn't even be deleted once - had to restart game for that).
