fortune_p_dawg: Did you even get a response from Larian in regards to this? Did they upgrade your edition of the game?
avatar
JaqFrost: No, no reply. Just very loud silence which served to give me the impression that they feel that we should pay for a new copy of the game if we want the same perks that we previously had.
Hmm, well, that is a bit of a shame. It'd be nice if they offered the goodies separately, though I can't really complain about a free copy of the game.

DyNaer: Nothing from Larian ...

and a somewhat explanation from GOG.

"Hello

I apologize for the late reply. I forward your questions to our Product Team and had to wait for a reply, these are the answers I received:
The extra are the same for the old Source Hunter DLC and the current Collector's Edition.
The bonus contents are not available Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition because they are part of a different product.

Regards
Genoan

GOG.com Support"

i mixed up the collector's edition of the EE & the original game + source hunter dlc (which isn't the collector's edition)

the collector's edition of the original version included all others games from the serie aswell (should be Divine Divinity , Beyond Divinity & Divinity 2 DC -> was avaible on Steam & boxed copies if i'm not wrong).

i mentioned the issued about the dlc no more avaible (to larian support) for the original game & the atrocious price for getting the extra goodies rigt now: because those concerned probably doesn't want to pay 70 euro for just this.
I wonder if the Enhanced Edition goodies are the same as for the original version?

read GOG's support reply , i posted above :P

in short = yes , except the version of the EE (collector) has an extra copy of the game.

Fairfox: I contacted Larian too, today, and got a confused reply back a couple of hours later stating people with the Collector's Edition get a second copy (in other words, nothing to do with what I wrote).
owners of the original version (collector) got a copy of the EE (collector) it's just simple as that.

edit : that's not possible on GOG.

non-collector version doesn't come with the goodies of the original version , because there are the same.

the issue if you want the DLC for the goodies you MUST pay 70 euro , the DLC source hunter is no more sold. (because the ingame content is inside the EE, well ....)

You got the EE Collector's Edition? I didn't. I got the vanilla EE which doesn't include the soundtrack.

nope; i just got confused :S (i originaly thought the collector's edition was the base game + dlc)

they were no collector's edition of the original game sold on GOG (only base game+ source hunter DLC as i mentionned)

Well, the original game was called Collector's Edition; at least, that's what I've got on my shelf. It included the soundtrack (MP3 + FLAC), artbook and design notes in addition to the Source Hunter DLC. I don't have any of that stuff for the Enhanced Edition. It is included as part of the EE Collector's Edition, which we can't have unless we're willing to pay for an entirely new copy of the game. There is no upgrade available for purchase.

can you post a screenshot ?, because the support insisted on the fact the collector's edition was never avaible there.....

there the "real collector edition" (i forgot the second copy of the game)

They seem to have changed the graphic, which said Collector's Edition, but check out this thread in the sub-forum, which addresses the issue. In short, what we had was identical to the Collector's Edition and now, it appears, we don't. Raze_Larian never replied to FlynnArrowstarr and in general, it seems like no one cares to actually give an answer. You and I got no replies from Larian and Fairfox didn't get a relevant one.

Senteria: I am kind of disappointed with the lack of online multiplayer. Seems you can still only play online co-op through LAN. There seems to be direct connect either via IP or Server ID (neither work). And there are no public games available. I assume this is all Steam features that are not useable through gog. Whatever happened to Crossplay GOG galaxy advertised to broadly?
Yep. Bought this game for the online co-up. I´m not gonna touch the singleplayer mode.

joomoo: Thank you so much for not making this console exclusive!! Just bought the game here because of it :)
Agreed.

DrearierSpider: In the age of $50 season passes and micro-transactions galore, this type of customer appreciation is truly going above and beyond. Plus the game is goddamn phenomenal. In short, fans with even a passing interest should buy without hesitation!
I agree about the customer appreciation.
