Oh Wow!

I loved this obscure survival series back on the PS1 and 2.

A real hidden gem, but it was so exciting. I still remember some of the crazier moments from those games, like when you were walking through the streets as a tidal wave comes sweeping in.

This could be a real fun diversion later!

Took a look at the history of this series and it is just all over the place in terms of rights, translations, and publishers. First three ranged from PS2 to PSP which is a bit of a shame as it would have been nice if they earlier games could get a release as well.

That was unexpected. I remember really enjoying Disaster Report and Raw Danger! years ago.

I was tempted to buy till I saw the publisher, then I got reminded of the politically correct pandering they do with their localizations. Never will buy from NIS America and their bunch of woke translators and localizers.

They're not the worst, don't have the common snese and repsect for the original XSEED did, but they're not Funimation either.

Whoa, I had no idea they were even making a new one of these, let alone expecting to see it day and date on GOG.
Not quite the right time for me to put 60 € on a new game, but I'll have to pick this up down the line.

Actually NIS is pretty bad if you just look at their track records of memes in their games from Dangan Ronpa and Neptunia games hence why Idea factory pulled back their games from them after complaints even Koei Tecmo did the same. They actually pretty close to Funimation when it comes to making up shit they even admitted so in an old Siliconera article.

Xseed was known to keep it as close as possible to the original and they had a known anti-censorship employee "Tom Lipschultz" who sadly left the company. Xseed also got stabbed in the back by Falcom because of the Japanese dub claiming NIS America asked them for it and saying Xseed never did while the fact was they just wanted more money which Xseed couldn't pay because of being a smaller company.

If you like anime and you want a truthful translation you'd be better of learning Japanese seeing as the whole industry is infested with people making up shit when it comes to Japanese to English translations.

Please don't tell me that game got censored to appease western outrage culture... :(

Not really all that new, It's the one they made during the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami but got canceled.
Not that I'm aware of yet, But with NIS America you'll never be sure.

Disappointed that the devs apparently have trouble working with GOG and didn't include the achievements on the Steam version.
