Test your resolve and management skills in a real-time strategy game in which you play the role of a global organization that has to deal with a global pandemic. Issue decrees, manage resources and construct buildings while works on the vaccine take place. COVID: The Outbreak from Jujubee S.A. is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM with a 10% discount lasting until 15th June, 1 PM UTC.

Note from the developer and publisher: 20% of all net sales from the game throughout May and June will be donated to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and other charitable foundations supporting the fight against the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
I'll edit this out because it might be seen as harsh against the one making the decision.

Does CEPI have anything to do with the World Health Organization? Because if so, I don't trust it one bit.
Today in Poland were GOG is located over 19 people died and 300 new people got the virus, but hey fuck that lets try and make some money on this with a cash in game, not like any of those people were gog employees eh.

So wait...lemme get this straight....I and others cannot talk about this event re: some of it's aspects on the forums, yet GOG can sell a game that deals with those aspects?

Really???

Also essentially people(the devs) making money off of a pandemic**?

(**=Yeah some goes to charity, but likely not much)

WinterSnowfall: I'll wait for the sequel: COVID: Economic Collapse. It'll be a tycoon game.
don't forget the third and fourth titles in the series. I forget the names but something along the lines of war and a world government-I hope I'm wrong tho. Probably both RTS titles.

The difference in doing business - Epic Games postponed free Pandemic game because they didn't want it to seem like a cheap marketing move during the biggest pandemic in decades.

Meanwhile GOG - HERE'S A COVID GAME FOR YOU GUYS!

As subtle and full of finesse as an elephant trying to shove a porcelain store up its own ass.

Haha, great! Cannot wait :D
And we also need an USA simulator, where you try to suppress the rest of the world.

So much for having standards...

Guess it is okay to profiteer off of tragic events that are recent. I really want to see what could of been released instead of this garbage.

I would like to know who's making or having the final say on desicions on GOG because someone apparently has a total lack of foresight and doesn't use their head at all. This developer comes of as shady i must say.

More importantly i don't think this was meant to be malicious in any way on GOG's part but please it's time to start think on how to handle things or better yet fix your management.

Writing from Italy, where we are just coming out of an unprecedented lockdown regime never experienced before.

And I find this... "game" mildly insulting.
