Vengeance in a nutShell.

Bombshell, a top-down, explosive action-RPG about extracting some sweet intergalactic revenge, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy achievements and a 10% launch discount.

The "Washington Incident" has certainly left a bad taste in Colonel Shelly Harrison's smart mouth. Quite understandably so, since it was there that she lost her right arm and the rest of her bomb squad. Now working as a mercenary and sporting a handy mechanical arm made from mostly unknown materials, Bombshell is eager to start kicking serious alien butt across four different planets.

Slip into the shell of foul-mouthed Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison and blast away the legions of ugly aliens that seek to destroy our humble planet. The past-paced, frantic gunplay and the imposing bosses in 3D Realms' latest offering will leave you no time for chewing bubblegum but what you will have in abundance are opportunities for crude comebacks. Use them wisely, wise-guy.

Punch and blast some manners into the alien terrorists as foul-tempered Bombshell, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you want to do it with even more gusto, be sure to grab the soundtrack and artbook included in the Bombshell Deluxe Edition. But if you are not ready to commit yet, you can always get the Bombshell Deluxe Edition Upgrade later. The 10% launch discount will last until February 08, 5:59 PM GMT.

CARRiON.FLOWERS: Didn't like Rise of the Triad '13, so when I saw this my expectations were low.

Just watched LGR's review. Seems generic. Not worth $30. What a shame, I guess?

Maybe the Build engine prequel will be better.

haydenaurion: Watched it, ouch.

Yeah, some of Rise of the Triad 2013's design (namely the boss fights) wasn't that great. I think Shadow Warrior 2013 did a much better job at remaking an old game.
Its design wanted to be just like the original game. It feels like I'm playing a high res mod. I would have preferred it if they did their own thing, I was actually expecting it to be something like Wolfenstein '09.

Shadow Warrior '13 was awesome. I ended up enjoying that game more than the original.
Never heard about this game but 3D Realms have been doing it?
Wishilsted.
I heard about this one before, but wasn't expecting to see it on GOG, especially not so soon.

Hm, the creature and environment design seem impressive, and it's nice to see some new games with interesting and bad-ass female lead characters.

Too expensive for a spontaneous purchase, but I might pick it up during some future promo, depending on how the reviews turn out.
Looks cool, wishlisted for now.
Now this is interesting... not necessarily the game itself, more so the fact that it's an AAA title day-1 release. I admit I was not expecting anything of the sort.

Sadly, it's too "fresh" for me to run it on my 5 year-old laptop.

Perhaps some good old games will follow? My wallet is not taking any hits yet, Judas.
I'll wait, wishlisted for now.

Ah, so overzealous curation is what allows GOG to surface gems like this.

With a 32 on Metacritic.
wishlisted :)

also suprised duke nukem 4 ever has made its way here yet :(
Yes! The first release I'm interested in this year. I was wondering how long that would take, and was pretty sure already it wouldn't happen this month. Wishlisted!
Yay for day 1 release! ...wasn't expecting to see it on GOG, especially not so soon.
By this point in the afternoon I probably would have caved just to support the Day 1 aspect, but this ain't the month...
This game was cancelled on the Xbox 360?.
Saw this on LazyGameReviews, and was disappointed. No, he isn't IGN.

I promptly came back here to redownload Duke Nukem 3D because why did I delete it in the first place??

Just watched that one myself. What a bummer. Seems like it's mediocre at best even without the glitches, so that goes straight into my "NOPE!" drawer.

No he's definitely not, LGR is a competent, learned reviewer.

And LGR's review definitely reinforced my feelings that this game is ass and that GOG curation is as reliable and trustworthy as early access.
