Are you ready to explore your music collection mapped as a stunning galaxy of wonders? You better be, because Beat Hazard 3 is now available on GOG with a -15% launch discount until July 6th, 5 PM UTC!

Experience your music collection as never before with this intense music driven twin stick shooter. Each of your songs will have its own unique ebb and flow based on the music.

Now on GOG!
I just tested Beat Hazard 2 v 1.317 and I can confirm that it now works without an internet connection and without a Galaxy.

It's actually quite fun.
Thanks to GOG and to the devs of the games for making this right. I will edit my opening posts accordingly to prevent scaring potential future customers :)
Been lurking here because I had my eye on this game series too. :P I love it when GOG members bring to light some important issues pertaining to a game and GOG listens and attempts to resolve said issue. This is the way! :) So thanks, MarkoH01 for notifying the community and to king-kunat for being receptive and resolving this "DRM" issue. Much appreciated! :) Because potential shoppers like me do lurk and take notice of these things!

Most thanks to testers ! Those chaters and directors only waiting for results. Please keep this portal Free of DRM in any form. Sometimes I think I am collector but no! I am connoisseur. I will add Beat Hazard 3 to my collection.
Good to hear. I would like to say thanks for the fix, but this shouldn't have been the case in the first place. Heh. =/

Still, I'm going to pick up BH3 then. I already have BH1 and I doubt there is a good reason to get BH2 at this point.

What do we have here??? A review that was posted by a user that criticized the game was deleted. As for now, it is only the review of a bot has left. I knew about such gog's trash politics - to delete reviews that they dislike (even if a review is completely legit). Gog continues its own self-burial in front of gamers (some gamers who I know criticized gog for a lot of reasons - and deleting reviews is one of those gog troubles).

Lucian_Galca: Needing to be online at all, even just for one time is unacceptable for something that's supposed to not have any drm.

Gersen: I agree, my point was that, for Beat Hazard 2, the "patch" actually made it worse because on top of the being online once requirement, it added the Galaxy requirement which wasn't there before.
I saw your post and want to ask - is there a need to start galaxy software to play the game? or gog patched it and there is no need to be online and galaxy to play the game?
