Ouch. Another "no regional price" for a GOG release. R$ 166,99 here x R$ 57,99 Steam.

Edit: well, that was fast. Interplay now removed regional price for steam.

Now that's a surprise. I thought everyone was talking about the new one possibly coming here, not the PS2 game. It's a good fit for GOG, but yeah, the price? Yikes. Baldur's Gate 1+2 Enhanced are already somewhat expensive but that this simple and linear, comparatively short console ARPG costs almost as much as both of these huge complex open world CRPGs together does feel like a bit of a joke. You might even get a second hand PS2 console for that price. XD
If it had been Dark Alliance 1+2 combined at least ...

russellskanne: Whats your problem!? This is peanuts compared to the newest games sold for 80 bucks!
Eure Armut kotzt mich an!
Maybe it does not have to do anything with not having the money but more with knowing the value of money and therefore wanting to pay reasonable prices? I said it ín another thread, if I ever plan on paying $80 for a game, please shoot me before I do.

Damn, that's a steep price for an old title. The only games I'd pay a bit more for if they ever got ported would be The Darkness or Condemned 2, but not this type of game.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: This should be at a $5.99 USD price point given the game's age and obsolescence in our modern time.
They should of just ported DA 1, 2 for $20, instead the first game for $30.

Plus, we're in the middle of a sale. For that price I could right now get 4-5 games which have been waiting their turn on my wishlist (maybe even more, depedning on what titles I pick). So compared to prices right this moment this comes off as especially overpriced.

Are you fucking kidding me? This game was insanely good. The best console game besides Timesplitters 2 and maybe Halo. I can't believe it appeared for PC.

Its phenomenal, get this now!

hmm looks like a game engine tutorial

Breja: Good, so at least we got this as a release today. It's still way below what I'd expect as the "high point" of a Winter Sale, but I guess compared to recent releases it's "big".

That said, the price is way to steep for me for a 20 year old hack'n'slash. And despite being a Sale release there's not even measly 10% discount.
big? as big as anime underage girl boobs?

Well i'm sure if Pitfall Atari2600 version comes here at a $40 price you'll pay full price? (You know, the price they had in the 80's).

Because you know, it's half of $80...

The price is quite steep tbh. The game is a port which was probably quite costly, but we're talking here about a game that's almost 20 years old. I'm a total BG fanatic (I think that BG2 is one of the best, if not the best, game in the history) and I'm quite skeptical when it comes to Dark Alliance. I never had an occasion to play it on consoles and will probably wait for a solid sale, but I doubt the game is at least as good as the first Neverwinter Nights. Good that it's here however and I add it with pleasure to my wishlist.

Agreed a two pack would have justified this price for example if the other two back game of Zombie ate my neighbors and ghoul patrol was split and each selling for 14 usd for each would not have bought either till cheap as heck.. but as it was a twin pack it thus had a reasonable price for those.. but in thise case I can't justify for a single game from so long ago even a pc port paying almost 30 usd for
Oh my Torm, yes! This is it! Forget about the crappy "modern" version, this is the real deal! Definitely wait for a sale though.

I hope the sequel also comes out, I always wanted to play as Drizzt and Artemis in this sort of game.
I really liked these type of games when they first came out. I still have this one for PS2 and Xbox. I'm happy to see this on PC now. Thanks for the Linux version and DRM free support. At this price point I'll need to think about it, and see some reviews. Wishlisted for now. At $15 or $20 this would have been an instant buy.

PS - I hope to see Dark Alliance 2 soon.

WTF???? The game cost almost $50 here but just $3 on Steam in my region, I think this is paifully overpriced, you should talk with the publisher GOG. How it's possible that they practically giveaway the game on Steam and here cost almost as much as a AAA game...
While I am a fan of everything based in The Forgotten Realms, the price is a bit high. I just hope it is a proper port, not a PCX emulator slapped underneath, like NINTENDO did a while ago. Also - we have FAN MADE texture up-scales for most games for free. They could have put a little effort in this release. Lazy ports are BeamDog territory...
