myzery37764: im looking for an rpg game with a good story and large open world. I don't care about graphics or the year it was released. I want a game i can play that wants me to go back and play it over after i finish. What do you guys recommend?
Divine Divinity might fit the bill. It has an open world with plenty of freedom, that freedom is what I remember about it the most. I think the story was ok, nothing to blow you mind but still on the "good" side of the spectrum. And it has a good sense of humor. I still remember the two skeletons arguing about how they can move having no muscles, and then falling apart because of that realisation. Still, my memory of it is definately tinged with nostalgia, as I absolutely loved that game. The world is probably not nearly as big as I remember it (though there is definately plenty of content, I have played it for an untold number of hours, always with something to do or explore) and a lot of things about it might be outdated today - I have not played it in many years.
