KiNgBrAdLeY7: I feel great. I already bought here again the Metro bundle. Which i bought retail back in the day (and required steam to run), when i couldn't possibly know it would come on gog. Other than that, though, i NEVER buy anything at steam since many years. But should more games come here, like the Batman Arkham series, i AM GOING to buy them here again and obviously, stay here. Besides i have handed my steam account to my nephew, so i rarely even log in it anymore...
Will you return to Steam again?
I don't have to since I don't have an account on that platform. And I'll never make one!

tinyE: It's not Steam but I rebuy all of the games I have on disc in here.
this is more my goal but if "Front mission evolved" came here I'd happily buy, burn to disc & throw out the coaster* that came in the case.

*Original steamed disc

So, what you mean is you didn't look at the linked page.

" Additionally, accounts cannot be deleted by request."
I have rebought many a game on GoG as I wanted to have a DRM copy. I do however usually buy them when on a hefty discount, like at least 60% off minimum.

Azhdar: Will you return to Steam again?
No, never. Unless for the occasional forum trip just for the lols.

And now that all the games i wanted have a gog release anyway (minus batman and fear 3), i have zero reason for a client, thankfully, anymore...

They might not bother with Fear 3, considering it's co-op focused and not all that good. :P

I just said what they have said to me.i repeat, either way,it doesnt really matter anymore.case closed
I rebuy games I have on CD so that I don't have to use that CD.

I rebuy games I have on Steam so that I don't have to use that Steam.
Since starting to use GOG and Humble I've re-bought a couple games I've had on Steam as DRM-free. For games I really like I'll often make a point to get a DRM-free copy should it become available. For others, if the price is great eventually I consider that too.

I've found the DRM-free shift particularly helpful for my laptop since for some odd reason I've had a bit of trouble with Steam's Offline Mode in the past there. I also like having the installers directly in my possession vs needing server access for every install (so thank you GOG, Humble.) As for the notion of buying a game twice, if you're not buying at full price either time then you're just paying for the game in two parts I suppose.
