I recently got a used ps3 and I have couple uncharted games, heavy rain, mgs 4 and red dead redemption but I'm mostly (atleast I was) a jrpg fan. Does ps3 have any good rpgs which are exclusives?

Also does any one know if persona 5 ps3 is coming to europe?
The Yakuza series, Folklore, and if you don't have a 360, there's Eternal Sonata.

Nobody knows when Persona 5 is coming out, much less where and on what platforms.
The only two PS3-exclusive RPGs I played are Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Demon's Souls.

I can recommend them both. Ni No Kuni is a true JRPG. Enjoyable, but somewhat overrated IMO. Demon's Souls, well, it's the first of its kind. That alone makes it worth playing, even though Dark Souls is the better game.

In Darks souls 2 scholar of the blablabla.. I'm in some spider boss. I do like that game. If I had trouble with original dark souls 1 pc port does suck but mods rectify most of it and dark souls 3 coming is demons souls different at all with those games?

Resonance of fate looks pretty good any one played it? If so, did you enjoy it?

I don't have it but I played the demo long time ago. I remember the characters have guns as weapons, and the game looks nice. Look for any gameplay on youtube. ^_^
Is your Ps3 backwards compatible and have you ever had a PS2? There were tons of PS2 JRPG exclusives.

The only notable difference between Demon's Souls and the Dark Souls games is how the world is designed. In Dark Souls you have these many paths that are all crossing each other and beeing linked together at some point, what makes it basically an open world, comparable to the traffic network in a big city. In Demon's Souls you have a hub from where you enter the several levels independently of one another. It's more like a train station with railways spreading out in every direction without ever intersecting each other. In other words: Demon's Souls is more linear and centralised.
For Jrpg's your better off just going on the store and looking through all the old games.

They got the Final Fantasy's 5 - 10.

I believe a few Shin Megami Tensei's (Not sure which ones, only brought Persona 3)

I think you can get a few games from the Tales Series (Tales of Symphonia etc)

I believe there are a few indie Jrpg's available on the store as well.

A PS3 can also play old PS1 games (And PS2 games if you have one of the original models, you'll know if it's one because it's logo will say 'PlayStation 3' instead of 'PS3' on the top of the console) but in my experience they don't end up working half the time due to the way they read the discs or something, had to buy a new ps2 so I could play the Ape Escape series again as the ps3 wouldn't read them correctly.

did you like Valkyrie Profile 2, because the battle system is similar but with guns and the game is mostly battles and such... as far as plot goes it's mostly an 90s anime episodic ragtag band of odd-jobbers trying to get money sort of thing going on if that makes sense and a lot of it is rather lighthearted (like the vash dance thing)

anyway, off the top of my head, just off the top of my head a list of japanese made rpgs

Valkyria Chronicles (though might as well get the pc version or wait for the remaster)
final fantasy 13 series, 10 HD collection, probably 12 HD soon too
Kingdom Hearts 1/2/I think 2.8 soon HD collections
Tales series
Souls series
Atelier series
Neptunia series
Star Ocean
Disgaea series
The Guided Fate Paradox and Awakened Fate Ultimatum
Legasista
Witch and the Hundred Knight (...it's super buggy so you might should skip it in favor of seeing if the remaster is any better?)
Ar Tonelico 3 and Ar nosurge (though I can't really recommend them unless you're already somewhat familiar with/invested in the setting since the gameplay doesn't really hold up)
Trails in the Flash (see above, though the Trails series in general probably has broader appeal even if you aren't familiar with the past games or the setting and the gameplay's better anyway)
Eternal Sonate (definitive version of the game, although I didn't really care for it)
Rune Factory Tides of Destiny
Ni no kuni
Nier and Drakengard 3
Dragon's Dogma
ragnarok odyssey ace (monster hunter clone IIRC)

not sure if Zill o'll is an rpg or a dynasty warriors ish game,

uhhh... there's time and eternity and last rebellion but they're notoriously bad, and there's also some other !f titles like the Agarest series if you feel like punishing yourself... White Knight Chronicles probably isn't worth it since I think the online's dead. PS3 version of Nights of azure isn't going to be released outside of japan so you can cross that off

If you stretch the definition a bit, you might also count Tears to Tiara 2 and Eiyuu Senki, though they're more VNs with gameplay/strategy elemetns.

I tried it and it doesn't play ps2 games but I do have ps2 in my closet. it was my gaming machine before PC.
Yakuza, Yakuza, Yakuza.

The most fun and interesting console exclusive franchise in my opinion...although it could be coming to PC.

Not quite an RPG because it's more like Zelda but, if you haven't played the original on PS2, get Okami HD. And it definitely has some parallels to JRPGs.

Second this post. I have Atelier Iris, Disgaea, Demon's Souls, Dragon's Dogma (PC edition, though), and one I would recommend that hasn't been mentioned here yet is

White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2. Great game with both together as they play as a single HUGE game.

Didn't like the PS3 editions of any of the Star Ocean games (SO2 TtEoT on PS2 was pretty hot).
