Hello guys so i have decided to make this thread about my problem this way i might get attention from support.

I have purchased a key code on 9/1/16 ( Saturday ) to the Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt from Kinguin , i trust in them because i have purchased 30 key code from them and had no problems so far.

So i have tried to activate the key code in GOG client , the client accepted the key then i pressed on continue
this is where my problem begins , when i pressed the continue button on the activation page my client just literally
crashed , okay i have re-opened the client and the game was not in my library ! okay i thought i just need to finish the process so i tried to active the code again and boom got the "code already used " message, contacted the support right away , got answer yesterday which was
" There is some kind of problem with your account (the email assigned to it is not properly displayed)"
and with this they have closed my ticket....

Okay i have tried to change it with 3 different e-mail address and neither of them was "properly displayed" in my account settings.

i'll attach pictures as a proof, also i would appreciate any tips, solutions.

any idea what just happened with the client ?
Too bad no one ever mentions not to buy from 2nd party distributors in here. XD
Even more so, too bad no one ever started a thread about not purchasing from Kinguin.

Oh wait... :P

I'll just take a seat next to Bigs.

I'm not using GOG Galaxy, so no idea what happened there. Have three things to say though:

1. Every time GOG Support replies to a ticket, that ticket shows as closed. You can re-open it by replying to their email, and provide the info about none of your email addresses displaying properly.

2. I'm really curious how you managed to have your username not display on the forum. Perhaps it's part of the same problem?

3. It's interesting that you thought of taking screenshots while redeeming the code, even though you did not know you'd need proof at the time.

You could try to create a new account (using a different email address), and see if things remain the same. Depending on how that goes, reply back to GOG Support.

On a different note - the place you got your code from is not an authorized GOG reseller, so if you're having issues with the code, you should take them to them.
*cracks open a soda*
1) No username
2) Effusive praise for Kinguin right off the jump
3) Took screenshot of his code before redeeming it, not knowing there would be a problem

Seems legit.
1. Okay didn't know thank you

2.I have no idea , I didn't even touch my GoG account since i have created it, i'm a little bit suspicious tho , might be a hack ?!

3..I have made screenshots to my cousin when i received the key , because he bought the code for me , luckily i made the screenshot to him
and i can use it as a proof now... which i'm not happy about, but fortunately i have it :)

made a new account, the e-mail was displayed properly, but the code says its used ... don't know what happened with my account , it could be a problem on their side , this is why i have contacted them , but i'm very inpatient :/

I understand the risks of buying from Kinguin , but i have purchase 30 key codes without problem , and as you can see on the picture "proof.jpg" the code was not used and it was a Witcher 3 code , probably from the Nvidia if i have to guess, see the " Claim the Free item ". : )

yogsloth: 1) No username
The username might not be visible on the thread, but it is visible via the forum itself; george940203.

Interestingly, it's not possible to access the top-down menu by hovering over his avatar.

Edit: Oh, the name is also visible when he is quoted.

No they more than likely used a stolen credit card to provide the code.
WAIT A MINUTE! I didn't even notice that! XD

Can I hide my user name? :P

I'd like to see NES track my ass down then!
So any idea what could have happened when the client crashed? might be a bug on their side? any solution
instead of accusations,jokes ? please help !

No I was being serious, the place your cousin purchased it from most likely used a stolen credit card to get the code, thus GOG revoked it.
