Gog is becoming more extremist left as the time goes by. Just wait for their "Kill the 'Nazi'" games selection sale.

It's likely more the fact that a number of companies(GOG included, albeit to a lesser extent) often put the same old pride logos/events up every June(and at other times as well) to gather more sales from people who think/reason "Oh, x company really supports LGBT...better spend some more money there!"

Essentially, many companies treat people(LGBT/etc) like gullible walking wallets, and some of us dislike being treated as such.

My guess is that (in part) they didn't want to upset the same "many gamers"(tm) that helped influence the Devotion decision.

Considering GoG frequently struggles with creating themed sales (especially the frequency that they happen), I don't think this would be a bad idea...

It’s fine to have a politically motivated sale, so long as you don’t mention it on the forums. It’s on the forums where political discussions are not allowed.

There have been a few prior "politically influenced" sales that had forum threads, actually.

Is it politics? I guess in a way ..... It is a hard line to thread with certain topics, and with how pride is really perceived at the moment. It is a bit the same about how a list of female college students and a score card how they ' do ' in bed was released a few days ago in the Netherlands which received a major outrage on the public channels. Mental health care is at this moment already offered to the ladies mentioned on the list and that is... or that young girl in belgium who was raped, taped and committed suicide after learning that the video was released online.....

My point, is a point like this really political ? i mean, there is so much hurt combined with a topic such as this that.. of course politics will pick up on it but .. lets leave it, this world still needs a lot of changing and rest assured, it won't be the politicians who will inspire that change
