A role-playing title that introduced the post-apo genre to mainstream gaming in 1988 is making a big comeback soon with revamped graphics and sound.

Get ready for the apocalypse and pre-order Wasteland Remastered from inXile Entertainment on GOG.COM. Join Desert Rangers, the only law left in what was once the American southwest after the Nuclear War.
Wishlisted.
This would be an instabuy for me if it were on MacOS or even PS4.
Yea, i'm in. Never had the patience to finish the original due to its notorious bugs. Wishlisted.
Oh yeah !

Instabuy.

Nice...it's coming along well I see.

Also kudos to InExile for allowing the old version to remain for sale while the new one is being sold. :)

It might work in Wine. ;)

Will there be a (hopefully significant) discount for owners of the original Wasteland on GOG?

This would be nice, but seeing as how many get/got it with wasteland 2(as a serial key freebie) I dunno if they could/would....I mean, it possibly depends on if they(GOG/etc) can tell who bought the first game vs. who got it for free(if they go the "paying customers of the old version get a discount on the new one only" route)...well unless they go the nice route and give all gog "owners" of the old version a discount, that is.

It's it going to have a Linux version? I mean both WL2 & the upcoming WL3 have one, kind of strange if this one didn't.
Now, this is a game that needed a remaster.

And I still have to beat the classic version...

You a "gotta beat the old one to play the new one" gamer too?

I like seeing good old games that could use remasters get them. Interstate '76 seems like one that works bad enough on modern machines that it could use a remaster. (may need to be built from the ground up though, not sure that counts as a "remaster") It's too damn bad EA didn't create quality remasters of DK1-2, instead putting out that very poorly-recieved DK mobile game. I imagine some of the old Might and Magic games could use modernizing.

Yes. Maybe not always but most of the time.

Sorry, but my mother taught me not to fist strangers on the internet. ;)
Happy for the remaster.

But I don;t have much faith in inxile, to be honest.

They screw up, mostly.
