Of vice and (dead) men.

<span class="bold">The Walking Dead: Michonne</span>, a new visceral entry to Telltale's phenomenal interactive drama series, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com. Due to technical issues, the Mac version of the game will be available tomorrow.

Michonne is a troubled woman, broken and reforged by a world where the living are no longer welcome. But above all, she is a survivor. Since the moment she was introduced to the Walking Dead universe, wielding her menacing katana and leading two reanimated corpses by chains, she instantly became a fan favorite. However, nobody knows exactly what she got herself into during the time when she left Rick Grimes' group to deal with her personal demons. Until now.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is a three-episode miniseries that explores this period in time when Michonne went sailing aboard "The Companion". Along with its crew, they soon come across a horrible massacre which then leads them to a floating colony of survivors. Are those responsible for the bloodbath living among these people? What will Michonne do, once faced with revelations that she cannot ignore? Her choices and her deadly sword are now in your hands.

Experience the missing chapter in the brutal story of <span class="bold">The Walking Dead: Michonne</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. To coincide with this release, we are also making available the Mac versions of two previous Walking Dead installments on GOG.com: <span class="bold">The Walking Dead: Season 1</span> and <span class="bold">Season 2</span>.

acetrouble: Yeah? In my library it says "there are no downloads for this game," (when using Galaxy) and the install button is still grayed out. Wonder what's up with that. Maybe it's only a matter of mins. now, though.

In any case, enjoy playing, folks!

It is available via browser, thank you! I guess it's not compatible with Galaxy (yet). Which is odd, I thought only older games wouldn't support Galaxy.

it should be available through Galaxy as well. Try restarting client, it might solve the problem.
Can I still preorder?
nice! I will eventually get this. holding off for stardew valley this Friday. but yeah...the walking dead games are some of my favorites.

JMich: Damn it GOG, those of us checking the RSS feed for new news don't get notifications when you modify an existing article :(
I also do not like this thread recycling. It's confusing. And not preserving the original message but overwriting it makes it even worse.
And still no Jurassic Park: The Game?!? Hmm...

sebarnolds: Nice to have day-one releases of Telltale games. I unfortunately own most of Telltale games on their website and already got this one cheaper on WinGameStore.
What do mean by "unfortunately"? Is the Telltale games website not good?

No problem with the website but the Telltale version is not very practical since season 1 of The Walking Dead. We have to download the first episode of the game and then, when an episode in released, we have to download it from the game menu. I don't know if it has changed since that one but I had to leave my computer on it during the download as alt-tabbing paused the download process.

That sounds horrible. Confused as to why they wouldn't just provide a normal download.
Yes it was horrible. And there were issues. Somewhere in Telltale support forum, I think there is a topic where someone posted a python script that manually downloads all the files and put them at the right place.

A horrid experience. I guess the games are DRM too.

I just visited their website and I saw that they are making a Batman series. I didn't know about that. It makes sense because the Arkham games where similar cinematic games.

DukeNukemForever: It would be really great if someday also the other releases here could get the mac versions, but for now the Walking Dead is a good start ;-)
Aside Walking Dead Seasons 1+2, it seems that GOG has also added Mac builds for Game of Thrones and Minecraft: Story Mode.

Hey, thanks for the reply. That are great news. Unfortunately I don't own both yet, but good to know ;-)
