Of vice and (dead) men.

The Walking Dead: Michonne, a new visceral entry to Telltale's phenomenal interactive drama series, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com. Due to technical issues, the Mac version of the game will be available tomorrow.

Michonne is a troubled woman, broken and reforged by a world where the living are no longer welcome. But above all, she is a survivor. Since the moment she was introduced to the Walking Dead universe, wielding her menacing katana and leading two reanimated corpses by chains, she instantly became a fan favorite. However, nobody knows exactly what she got herself into during the time when she left Rick Grimes' group to deal with her personal demons. Until now.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is a three-episode miniseries that explores this period in time when Michonne went sailing aboard "The Companion". Along with its crew, they soon come across a horrible massacre which then leads them to a floating colony of survivors. Are those responsible for the bloodbath living among these people? What will Michonne do, once faced with revelations that she cannot ignore? Her choices and her deadly sword are now in your hands.

Experience the missing chapter in the brutal story of The Walking Dead: Michonne, DRM-free on GOG.com. To coincide with this release, we are also making available the Mac versions of two previous Walking Dead installments on GOG.com: The Walking Dead: Season 1 and Season 2.

PaterAlf: Read that one a while ago and it was quite shocking. Waiting for volume 25 now...
I can't wait, because volume 24 was very boring.
I already owned and completed The Walking Dead Season 1, 400 Days, and Season 2 on Steam (before GOG even got them.) Kinda want to keep all the entire series on the same platform.

Looking forward to Season 3, though I'm really worried about how they are going to carry over decisions from the end of Season 2.
Oh, I misread the title as "The walking dread" and imagined a game about marijuanasmoking rastas! :-)

I think there will be a short intro that will depend on what path you choose, and somehow all paths will merge into one (probably with some minor differences, but the same basic story thread).

You know what to do. ;)
Need to complete the first two series. Got them for a while and just played around with the first episode on my old windows pc. As my main current main machine is a mac I'm very happy to hear GOG gets also the mac versions for the old series. Big Thanks to GOG and Telltale doing this, I was really hoping for this. It would be really great if someday also the other releases here could get the mac versions, but for now the Walking Dead is a good start ;-)

I did! :-)
Still haven't downloaded and played the second series, so this one can wait a bit. Great to see it available on GOG, none the less.

Since they call it a "miniseries", how long is the game? About as long as 3 episodes from the main Walking Dead game series? And are all episodes already available?
low rated
mmmmmmMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeh...
so is this 9% off or 10% off?

£10.99 - 10% is not £9.99 unless my maths is completely incorrect :D it works out more like 9% if we are rounding it off like some are saying gog do?

£10.99 - 10% = £9.89
£10.99 - 9% = £10.00

they should change it it to 9% otherwise its simply an untrue...

:) maybe ask for a refund on the difference since it does actually specify the 10% in the header info sheet

"The Walking Dead: Michonne, a new visceral entry to Telltale's phenomenal interactive drama series, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows and Mac, with a 10% pre-order discount".

no mention of upto 10% so nobody can say that is an excuse..

just saying..

i would say it will work along the same routine as walking dead season 1 and 2 did where you get the initial release on day 1 (Feb 23rd) then episode 2 & 3 will be released throughout the year at timely intervals..

but yes i would say its 3 episodes about the same length as what is contained in series 1 or 2...

of course its speculation on my part ...i have all the tell-tale games and some chapters / episodes are short while some are longer..

I'm also curious about this. Well mostly, are we getting the full Walking Dead 3rd season or is the season released in episodes format (a la Wolf among us pre-GOG release)? Will I have to wait to get the full story arch?

Edit: Just saw the answer above. Thanks HornyRhino. Would still appreciate an answer that would be less of a guess. :)
