Death becomes you.

NECROPOLIS a merciless action/roguelite where death is its own reward, is now available for pre-order, for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Who doesn't enjoy a spectacular, brutal, educational death? Especially if it's permanent, which means all your hard-earned or crafted gear, your elixirs, and any trust you had in your friends now lie shattered on the floor of an accursed, constantly-shifting dungeon.
But it also means that you get to start fresh, armed with more knowledge, better-honed skills, and additional upgrades available. So you've got no excuse if you die again. And again. And again. And then maybe drop in somebody else's playthrough or have them drop in yours so that you can die together this time. And one time after that. Then two more. Yes that's it, you're getting the hang of this now.

Pre-order NECROPOLIS, the unforgivingly cheeky dungeon-crawler, DRM-free on GOG.com. Those who pre-order the game will also get the NECROPOLIS soundtrack as a free bonus. The game is expected to be released on July 12.

Big fan of HBS here too.

Bought !
Summer sale has made my wallet empty, so this has to go on the wishlist.... for now
What happened to their feet? :P
I like HBS, but the screenshots show a lackluster game (maybe still in dev or minimalist), plus no Linux. And the selling game's point is dying a lot? I know that is not true, but the description is not helping.
I've seen a video opinion of this, based on a beta and depending on the final reviews I may let myself be tempted (thanks for fair pricing btw - and NO preorder incentives? Darn, we're spoiled!).

Big fan here as well, but summer sale left my wallet drained, so to the wishlist it goes :)
I'm intrigued. I could see this being some maddening fun with a few drinks and friends.
But I'll wait for the Linux build.

Looks like we could be in for a long wait...
By the same developers as Shadowrun Returns, huh? Wasn't aware of that -- I consider that a plus.

That aside, the whole "You'll die over 9000 times" / "It's harder than Dark Souls!!1" marketing crap is mildly annoying. ( And I'm saying that as someone who likes the Souls series and doesn't mind challenging games. )

Game itself could be fun, but 30-ish dollars is too much for a spontaneous purchase, so I think I'll wait for reviews and a discount.
Wow didn't even know about this one. I like this sort of art style - surprised more don't use it. Enjoyed the look of Massive Chalice and the Sheltered games as well and I feel those seem to be in the same vein.

Still surprised I missed this - I thought HBS was working on a board / card / video game hybrid not another game.
Damn, this one will stay on my wishlist for a looooong time. A bit too expensive(+ darn sales... who thought that having a sale is a good idea?huh?huh?huh?) + no pre-order bonus/discount... oh well. Enough games to keep me entertained till winter.
