omega64: Wasn't there a sequel to Rainbow Moon coming out? ...
Hmmm no PC version of Rainbow Moon, I should finish that game on my Vita.
Rainbow Skies is still in development. PC version is however not planned at the moment, sorry.

Game looks really nice, I find it bad that it's again a "OMG GENERATED GAME WORLD.... (lets forget about a story just visit places generated with the same assets over and over again and remember ROGUE-LITE!!!!)".
Still I love adventure games so I'll forget about being cynical and just pre order it in the hopes it will be fun and interesting :D

eastasiasoft: It's a question of game balance. The game isn't balanced around a manual save system or non permadeath. Think about Spelunky with unlimited lives, it would neither be very challenging nor much fun.

styggron: For you Spelunky would not be fun for me with unlimited lives (which I have) is perfect fun. Like I said it is about options.
Agree with styggron. I like playing Civilization V on the lowest difficulty setting so I can faceroll the computer over and over again. Not all of us are looking to be challenged by a game, we get plenty of that in real life. Gaming is for relaxation and not having to stress.

100% couldn't agree more. It should all be about options. A warning that playing with saves is on another game mode and that mode is not balanced by design is all we need.

:)

Other games like Neo Scavenger and Curious expedition, I made it so they have saves and that is how I like to play them. I refuse to lose hours of work and start over. No way :)

I heart permadeath as a design choice, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the reviews for this when it comes out.

Thanks to the last sale I also got Spelunky. Reading the reviews it seems not to be my kind of game ("Spelunky is insanely difficult game and I mean it."). But with unlimited lives I may give it a try. How do I get unlimited lives?

If you look it up you will find mods which allow infinite health.

Oh, I thought the game has some cheat codes for it. I found a mod, but have not tried if it works.

It should be built in I agree.

There is cheatengine where you edit memory addresses while the game runs. I have not ayed Spelunky in a long time.
