I saw someone on the highway today. On the green strip between the lanes with his cellphone out in typical hunting mode. I wonder how many people already got killed due to this game (and due to being stupid) and how many more have to die before some update is enforced that sees to it that no Pokemon are placed in dangerous or unethical places.

Less dumbasses in this world wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Survival of the fittest, yo.

Well, my brother got the game and... dear Arceus suburban areas dead. We took an hour long walk and didn't encounter any pokestops or gyms, and only after we got into a car were we able to drive around and identify some locations. Pokemon are also very hard to come by. My brother then visited his girlfriend and reported that the game is completely different in the city with non-stop pokestops and gyms practically every block and teeming with pokemon. In 1 hour of gameplay he got more progress than we achieved in ten hours in the suburbs. So yeah, if you live in surburban areas and don't travel to the city frequently the game is basically unplayable :-(

Yes, but if enough dumbasses are killed, there will be an outcry and then there will be some politicians wanting to profit from that outcry and making some hasty stupid decrees (like threatening to ban some games) forcing some some reaction from the publisher.

If Pokemon Go wants to send mails using your Google Account, well why won't it or do any other stuff you permitted it to be able to do:

Read all your email
Send email as you
Access all your Google drive documents (including deleting them)
Look at your search history and your Maps navigation history
Access any private photos you may store in Google Photos
And a whole lot more

And now millions of people who didn't know of a pokemon videogame with proper mechanics and battle systems will experience pokemon for the first time with this garbage when Nintendo decides to open the floodgates for this retarded game in other countries.
